Does this sound come every time you start the bike?

I have this sound only and only when I park my bike after riding in the hot weather for a long time.

So what happens is I ride the bike in traffic, fan kicks in a couple of times. Naturally the engine gets very hot. I arrive home and park the bike and leave it for at least 3-4 hours. After I come back and turn it ON I get a similar sound, when the fuel pump primes itself, but I only get this sound once.

I have a theory as to why this happens but I'll let you answer first.

When i start after some time. Like starting after leaving bike in parking for some hours for work and then in morning again after a gap at home for night.

This happens with me daily. Does tok hot weather have something to do with it?

Come on bro!! Do you really expect something from SVC? I am just back from my second free service today and totally disappointed. They did nothing apart from Engine oil change and change lubrication. I had many issues which i expected resolution and my JOB sheet was like full, but you know how it goes.

I can now make this comment- The Bike is beauty no DOUBT. The bike is one of the best in its Segment with all features and the awesome drive feeling. The only thing that is destroying is Bajaj SERVICE. With any machine you buy, no doubt how good it is, it will always end up having issue for which you need to go to a service center. That is where ASS comes in to play. Better to know about how Bajaj service goes about in your area. I would repeat myself again, the Bike is a beauty and an obvious choice, but the experience i have had with service has been quite poor. To that extent, i used this for first time [email protected]

One more free service and going for better SVC outside of the official Bajaj ones. Atleast they are better to hear issue and resolve them.

I totally agree with you. Bajaj's ASS sucks. I get better treatment than the other the guy's who own Pulsar 150's & 220's, but even that is after I visit multiple times and keep nagging about a particular issue to them.

The bike is a gem, the build quality is miles ahead of previous generation Pulsar's, and the performance is unparalleled.

But sadly the SVC network cannot keep this train of good things going. Hopefully they will improve it in the future, seeing as they have even bigger bikes on the way (CS 400, RS 400).

            Fingers crossed!

Did a 200+ round trip to a hill station with a large group of riders. Though this being the first proper bike i have ever ridden and have no other bike to compare it to but the ride with the Rs200 was amazing. The way the Rs200 handles turns and a torquey midrange made the ride a bliss.Me being a novice rider and a little hesitant to corner hard/quick overtakes, still I could effortlessly keep up with experienced riders on Gixxer sf, dukes, pulsar NS etc. Though i could not keep up with the impressive and more powerful ducatis, benellis and ninjas.

Only issues remains with the the seat cushioning since one cannot ride for more than 45 min without a break. I may need to add extra bolstering. Although the front brake came in handy on the ghats, the extra play in the lever doesnt inspire confidence. I did my own brake bleeding and that improved the feel since the SVC guy did not do a good job. still ill do a full bleed to get back the stock feel of the lever which was lost when the service guy removed the brake pad to address the front squealing sound.

Also to keep up with the group i rode fast over rough roads with slight bumps and un-leveled surfaces. Hopefully i did not do any damage to the front forks since one R15 front fork seal started to leak on the way back.

Sadly i do not have any specific pics of My Rs200 .

                      Respected guys....
My bike is almost 3 months old and day before yesterday I met with a severe road accident while I was riding as a pillion on my bike.
                      Now my question is...
Can the insurance be claimed now..?
Note: The driver has a driving licenese valid till date but is going to expire on 6th of this month.

Well the insurance guys might create a ruckus if they come to know about this. So if you have a valid license, tell them that you rode the bike.

I hope you are doing ok and you've not suffered much damage to the body.
It has been 2 days you shouldn't delay claiming insurance. DL's validity can be contested later stating that it was valid when the accident took place.

P.S - I hope the rider had a permanent DL and not learner's license.

                            Actually I don't have a valid license
But as stated earlier the person driving (actually he is my maternal uncle) holds a proper permanent driving license..
Just one more question that how much time can I delay claiming insurance as I require visits to hospital on alternate days..

Take the bike to the SVC ASAP. They'll call a surveyor from the insurance company to estimate damages. This process itself takes a week to 10 days. Don't delay the process as it will reduce chances of getting any compensation.
