Got some details from the internet.Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostAs per the images , contact patch remains same . It forms more round profile. Do u feel rear height increment ?

It same like KTM duke. Morning I replaced the tyre and I have driven only 3kms. The rear brakes are not effective since it has been removed for tyre change. After some time I may get the rear brake feedback as well as grip.

I upgraded my rear tyre to 150/60 R17 MRF Revz C. Fits perfectly.
Please do come up with a review of the tyre.
Once I ride my bike for some kilo meters, I will review about the performance and grip levels.

Well do give a short term review of the change in handling and road dynamics, also how much the milage suffers.
P.S It's wonderful to see that the stock mudguards can hold a 150/70!

Please do come up with a review of the tyre.
At the shop the trye was looking very big. After fitting into the rim the tyre became rounded and it was not looking that much big.
Grip and performance:
Yesterday I went to Hosur from Bangalore 120Kms (Up & Down). The rear tyre grip is awesome and the rear brake do its job pretty well. The rear brake was very responsive even at 100Kmph. To check the grip I applied only rear brake and it was superb. I was able to slow down the speed upto 20kmph and I applied front brake to stop fully. I haven't locked the wheel. I will try to lock the wheel at low speed. Please note I was riding with pillion.
To be honest I am afraid to do more leaning on cornering. But I got some confident while doing cornering.

So after the new Big Tyre.. Grip wise and Riding Wise.. What's the difference.Originally posted by 2008venkatesh View PostInitial impression:

Differences:Originally posted by RiteshDharod01 View PostSo after the new Big Tyre.. Grip wise and Riding Wise.. What's the difference.
Which is better in handling ?
The grip is good compared to the stock and it may help us from rear wheel locking
Tyre gives more rounded profile and gives confidence in cornering
Handling is good on both the tyres
I hope it wont affect mileage.

the mud guard is ready to allow 150/70 but the Swing arm may not allow.
Initially I thought of going for 150/70, due to swing arm I went for 150/60. In future I will check 150/70.Last edited by 2008venkatesh; 05-16-2016, 10:33 AM.
