150/60/17 is the correct upsize for the stock rear tyre. Its the same as the Dukes... should get plenty of options in Michelin, pirelli, conti....Originally posted by 2008venkatesh View PostHi,I want to upgrade my rear tyre to 150/70. I searched this thread as well as google to see any reference image and I couldn't find it. If anyone upgraded the rear tyre to 150/70, please upload the photo. Reason for upgrading: From the back, bike looks like skeleton. I mostly drive in the city and I never locked my rear wheel while applying brake. Kindly suggest brand.ThanksCould you post some pics during the day? :-D.. looks cool but cant make out exactly how it has been done. :-)Originally posted by amarme001 View PostDid some mods not for aesthetics but needed to loose some weight gone old light.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
The members who want to see how the bike looks without the saree guard or tyre hugger might wanna see the following review of RS200 on team-bhp. The bike used for testing doesn't have either of them. The pictures used should give you a clear idea.
Report, Pics & Video: Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ridden at the factory test-track - Team-BHP
And could the members kindly suggest for how long the Bajaj stock oil can be run for in Kilometers. I do realize it changes from rider to rider and driving conditions but there has gotta be an approximate estimate.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Overall build quality improved in RS 200. The fairing unit is not vibrating in my RS. But I felt vibration near tank pad and foot rest. The mirror will give vibration that too at certain RPM and I don't find this one as an issue. Even at the red line you will not feel any vibration in the fairing, mirror and foot rest.Originally posted by PARTH CHAKRABORTYIs the fairing quality of rs200 too cheap and vibrating ????
You may get 'Thud' sound from the front whenever you hit the potholes or speed breaker above 15Kmph.Last edited by 2008venkatesh; 05-11-2016, 11:50 AM.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
The FI is doing good job. I have not faced any problem with FI. Some riders faced problem with FI and facing whistle noise while starting. I think this problem due to hot weather. You may find these type of posts in earlier pages. I hope the FI unit won't give any problem until unless we ride the bike less or without fuel.Originally posted by PARTH CHAKRABORTY View Postthanks and is the fi on rs reliable quality and whats the sound that comes during start of engine kill switch

Regarding running in period, bajaj manual states clearly.Originally posted by PARTH CHAKRABORTY View PostIf one wants ti check the correct average of rs what is the method and what is running in period
In short, till 1000kms at 6th gear don't exceed 48kmph.
1000-2000kms at 6th gear dont exceed 54kmph.
Don't drive at constant RPM for long time.
Mileage approximately 35kmpl.Last edited by 2008venkatesh; 05-11-2016, 01:19 PM.

It is really ridiculous of Bajaj to have such running in method.Originally posted by 2008venkatesh View PostRegarding running in period, bajaj manual states clearly.

Better would be to follow the rpm method. Don't cross 5k rpm till 1k km, after that till another 1k km don't exceed 6k rpm and so on.
It will be too painful to ride a 200cc engine for max 48kmph for 1000 km.Busy finding peace

Yes. It was very difficult to maintain those speed limit. I maintained 50-55 kmph till 1000kms then maintained 60-65 kmph from 1000 to 2000kms.Originally posted by Hemant Singh View PostIt is really ridiculous of Bajaj to have such running in method.

At 6K RPM bike will reach 80kmph. So try to avoid in running in period. To overtake revving occasionally is not a big problem. Don't do sudden acceleration and deceleration.
