I use Diesel, a toothbrush and TVS chain lube to clean and lube my chain. I haven't used a car jack due to fear of it being un-safe but ill give it another try rather Than coercing a family member to tilt the bike .

Anybody from Mumbai coming to tomorrow's breakfast ride organized by Sai Service Center for RS200 owners? The ride starts from Lower Parel to Manor (approx. 90 km north) at 6:30 am....

I have no issue with idle rpm. Its perfectly normal. Also there was about 3/4 amount of fuel in the tank.
Also the same incident occurred when i stalled my bike in gear during traffic and it took 4 cranks for it to start. I was told after stalling not to crank immediately, but to toggle the kill switch so that the fuel pump gets re primed. I may have not followed this maybe during one stalling issue but for the other i followed and it still happened.
have faced these weird starting issues only about 4 times in 4.7k km so it occurs rarely. though i stall the bike rarely as well

I had an incident at about 700km where my bike battery drained by itself. later during 2k i had issues of the bike stalling down a slope when i used to pres the clutch lever, it used to happen when the bike was no warmed up properly. So after i used to warm the bike i haven't faced the stalling issues down a slope.

I have completed 4.7k km and will be going for the official 2nd service this Saturday. Could you please let me know what could be the issue with the inconsistent starting?

Could you tell me whats is the TSB id number and the date of posting? I cannot make these out in the picture that you have provided.

          Regards
I have not found a solution to this issue yet. It happens with me almost every single day.

I'll let you know If I do find an explanation or hopefully even a solution.

          Cheers!

                  Open in pc browser,
                  Its clearly visible!

If not, i will state what it has,
The hose from abs module to brake caliper has to be changed( newone is 15mm longer than existing)
And has to be rerouted from left side,
Hose clamp has a new design.

Guys, while applying front brake suddenly i can feel a pressure which seems likes the brake lever removes from my hand, many of them says it is because of abs but the abs light didn't glow in that situation...i didn't get anything about in google...anyone have any idea about it..??

If ABS light is glowing means abs is not working, so thats a clean ABS pulse you are feeling.

(first understand how abs works, then forget about abs and ride like a normal Disk brakes,
Im intentionally saying this because many new kids dont know how it works and they face accidents)
Whenever i take a look at bajaj ASC's i feel pitty for their parents.

Nope every showroom has a different waiting period. Try the bigger Pro Biker showroom's. I've heard they usually have parts in stock and if not then they are available sooner than other dealers.

                          Good luck!

If there is delay for spares.. always check with multiple showrooms.. My bike waited in svc for 3 months.. When checked the spares in other svcs out of frustration.. they had stock... Svcs are not ready to get the spares from their own nearby branches..

By ABS pump, do you mean ABS motor? The purpose of the motor to is to activate/deactivate solenoids that ultimately control the pressure of brakes for on/off action. So, if the motor fails, the ABS module doesnt work and your brakes keep on working as normal disc brakes. So, no locking is there. The only condition where the brakes can lock up is if extremely unluckily one of the solenoids conroling the "off" position fails. But this is highly unlikely and I have never heard any such cases till date. Even if such a thing happens in RS200, only the front wheel is affected as the ABS is a single channel one. The rear wheel provides only input to the ABS sensor and no action is taken on the rear wheel.

Yes, the pump/motor requires electricity to run. If the ignition is off and the bike is rolling, I dont think the ABS will work (theoretically). This is my understanding and is not backed by practical experiment. If you happen to try this and get different results, please share with us
