Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Neatness and perfection to another level. Superb. [emoji7]Originally posted by Andrey Stavitsky View PostHello!
My name is Andrey, and I am from Ukraine.
It's quite far from India, but since Bajaj motorcycles has come to our roads, and I've bought one (the red one
), I decided to register here and tell some about my Pulsar RS200.
So lets begin!
I purchaced my RS200 after selling my chinese 200cc motorcyle, it was at end of February.
It was cold and snow was everywhere, so I decided to leave my bike at dealer's showroom and ask dealer to make some minor changes like GPS navigator mount, and anti-theft alarm, and 12v socket... and a heat grips too, because sometimes there is pretty cold even in summer time!
In a while I got my motorcycle with those changes, and when snow and ice melted, I rode to some guys who make baggage racks for motocycles. They welded nice racks for me, with mounts for top case, side cases, and even brake disk lock.
Now I'm running in my bike and there is 130km on odometer. Average air temperature is about +5-7 degrees, but with heated grips it is not a problem.
I expect I will go many kilometers during some nice travels and my RS200 will be good in those trips.
And also.. welcome to family of pulsar MaNiAcS [emoji48]Hot Headed Beast

It depends pn your budget.Originally posted by Lone_Rider 0_o View PostThank you all for your suggestions! [emoji2]
I have made up my mind and will be going with the Michelin's Pilot Street Radials over Pirelli's. [emoji4]
Should I go for front tyre replacement as I read in some blogs that if you want to get the complete riding experience of these tyres and get it as a pair????
But i suggest you to go for the pair....... Both radial front upzised and rear stock. I had done the same.... And enjoying a lot now with both the tyres.

Glad I Was of Any Helps!!Originally posted by hotheadedbeast View PostActually i had already seen that video of yours when i was trying to collect information about rs before purchasing. Nice work. Please let me know the details of that helmet cam as well along with price etc.
Thanks in advance.
Anyways the Camera Setup I am using is Literally an Old Smartphone Glued together with a Wide Angle Lens and Fixed on to a GoPro Mount on My SMK Twister Helmet
The Helmet Costs About Rs 4000,
Camera is an Old Galaxy S3 I owned (No Idea of Pricing)
Smartphone Lens Kit (Prices Mainly Rs 99 to 199)
Mounting Solution (Rs 500)
Here is a Video of The My Current Setup
Previously I used this one with the FreeBee Helmet which I received from Bajaj!! (Not the Most Elegant Solution, But Worked Pretty Good, and is Dirt Cheap!)

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Wow that is so nice that the manufacturer even provides accessories as an option , I've never seen any of such things in India , inner even their servicing will be much better due to higher quality standards there. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the bike cost you there on road(total amount you paid for the bike including all taxes and fees but other than accessories )?Originally posted by Andrey Stavitsky View PostHello!

please do let me know the progress as well.hotheadedbeast Thank You Bro! I managed to remove the plastic caps of the saree guard but in the process I disfigured the black caps! I just have to remove the 3 hex keys only! Thank you! I have some questions,Originally posted by hotheadedbeast View Postyou need to use tool force..!!
1)Will I get to buy those black caps from a Bajaj showroom? If yes how much will it cost per cap?
2) If I remove the saree guard will it be noticeable because my mom and dad bought my bike as a gift for me! If they notice that the saree guard has been removed, then they will scold me for removing it without their permission! Is it noticeable???

Then ask for permission man, be a good kid. If they gave you a freaking bike as a gift I'll be surprised they'll say no to remove a saree guard.. reassure them you won't take women on it 😂 surely they'll allow you to remove it hahaOriginally posted by melo1999 View Posthotheadedbeast Thank You Bro! Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
those black caps once removed cannot be re-used, neither they will be available at ASC's. Bajaj takes almost no care of existing customer's and it is a fact, maybe due to it's huge scale sale. Secondly if you would remove the saree gaurd, it's almost impossible that someone may notice it as the bike's design makes everyone neglect such details. I too removed me rear wheel mudguard which was abusing its superb sporty look and results... no one noticed and the bike looks a monster.
