Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I too have decided sticking to stock tyres, they are doing fine, but i will surely switch to fully synethetic oil as recommended by fellow pulsarians.Originally posted by IamAditya View PostI touched 153kmph on my bike , Odo reads 13k kms..
Running on stock tyres, they performs realy well.
Scraped pegs many times, the tyres ones heats up its realy grippy at corners.Hot Headed Beast

RS doesn't have radial tyres..Originally posted by hotheadedbeast View PostI too have decided sticking to stock tyres, they are doing fine, but i will surely switch to fully synethetic oil as recommended by fellow pulsarians.
Just ride a RS which have radial and medium compound.
You will realize what you were missing all these days.
Even i ride on stock tyres but it scares and lacks grip sometimes.

I'm sorry I didn't actually understand that...Originally posted by Yatheesh S Yashashvi View PostOfcourse data comes from ecu..
But if you connect obd2 reader to obd1 it doesnt read any data.
6pin connector will remain same for obd1 & obd2
What port do we have exactly... OBD1 OR OBD2..
And if it's OBD1 there is no point in buying the OBD2 sensor hardware right.. And again..
Either way.. I was asking if the hardware I attach gets faulty.. Won't it affect ecu.

Its just a connector pins..Originally posted by xmoose View PostQuick question.... What is this port in the picture?
OBD1 or OBD2?
Have you noticed in that video he will attach a adopter which converts 6 pin to obd type connector..

Yes... I'm sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions.. But I don't think service center guys would help me with this.. Last time I myself bought double side tape and stuck it when they lowered the fairing for air filter change.. And they were asking me about it..Originally posted by Yatheesh S Yashashvi View PostIts just a connector pins..

We have 4 female pins in the socket.. The converter he connects... Just uses the two pins for data transfer... Right...
Other two are vcc and gnd..
Again he connects it to a sensor with Bluetooth saying it is OBD2.. What I am asking is
Will it work on our bikes too...
If it does... Since the circuitry is connected to ecu.. Would it cause trouble in case the external device malfunctions..

If you connect + - in opposite it may blow fuse or may malfunction..Originally posted by xmoose View PostYes... I'm sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions.. To avoid that buy readily available converters

Yeah I know that .. I'm not asking about the fuse blowing... In case the device malfunctions.. The two other pins are from. Ecu.. Can the ecu handle random voltage levels? Suppose the device messes up and then supply a 7v to the data pin.. Wouldn't this fry the ecu?Originally posted by Yatheesh S Yashashvi View PostIf you connect + - in opposite it may blow fuse or may malfunction..

Why you are asking these questions.
If you buy converters you dont need to worry anything.
