I fell two times because of skid the engine kils itself no display and bike also doesn't starts just by releasing clutch have to press starter . Svc guys are stupid dumbass and fool . I was having problem with power loss after 10 to 15 kms they cleaned my carb . I insisted them to adjust valve clearance and they ignored . Customer support now aslo helps relaly fed up with the service.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Since it happens with the as 200 as well we can roll out the ecu being problematic.. since the as 200 doesn't have one. I wonder what else can lead to thisOriginally posted by Saurabh Tuli View PostIt happens with my as200 also and there is a code written in meter display, and after that it resets engine stops while running and rear tyre skids . No solution got from service centre

I think its problem with electrical . Because power is cut of suddenly .Originally posted by shriomman View PostSince it happens with the as 200 as well we can roll out the ecu being problematic.. since the as 200 doesn't have one. I wonder what else can lead to this

I don't understand how the ear Tyre skids, when the engine dies when it's in gear the bike just loses all power but it decelerates slowly without locking up the Tyre at least in my p220, in my case I ran out of fuel at 70 kmph. My rpm just dropped gradually untill I was very slow and then the rear locked up at about 5 kmph .Originally posted by Saurabh Tuli View PostI think its problem with electrical . What's different in these bikes that makes it immediately lock the rear Tyre ?? I don't understand this

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
But the thing is... We can't relate it to the stalling issue.. Assuming stalling causes this... Let's say the engine shuts down.. And the alternator stops.. So the power input from alternator to electronics/battery is off...Originally posted by Saurabh Tuli View PostI think its problem with electrical . Because power is cut of suddenly .
Now the system resets..
Could it be possible that the battery is messed up..
And can anyone with clear knowledge tell me if the alternator charges the battery directly or via a relay.. Like.. The electronics is run from alternator when the bike is running and from battery to start up.. Something like that?

Does your bike starts after skiding when you apply clutch. Mine doesn't starts .Originally posted by xmoose View PostBut the thing is... We can't relate it to the stalling issue.. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I don't release the clutch and try to push start it... I actually hit the starter.. Once engine dies I immediately do a full clutch in and hit starter.. Maybe you should do that too.. So far I haven't fell down..Originally posted by Saurabh Tuli View PostDoes your bike starts after skiding when you apply clutch. Mine doesn't starts .

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
The electronics is not run from alternator but from battery. This was the reason for my bike not running when the battery went bad even after I managed to jump-start it using another battery.Originally posted by xmoose View PostAnd can anyone with clear knowledge tell me if the alternator charges the battery directly or via a relay.. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi guyys,
Since the first day i got my bike i have been having issue with tappets RS 200 and it continues still.
I get the tappets adjusted every service with valve clearance but still the issue persists.
Is there any permanent solution for this ?
And is anyone facing the same issue ?

I'm unable to answer your question.. But could you please explain what are the side effects of this issue.. I mean.. What actually happens due to tappet issue in our bikes.Originally posted by DDR View PostHi guyys,

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
My cousing got rs delivered after 4 days waiting in mathura. Another cousing got the ns delivered after 2 weeks, both graphite black edition. They both were fooled by showroom authority in same way but i told them to escalate it to higher authorities and here came the result.Originally posted by shriomman View PostLoose contact with battery connectors maybe ? Many people has had that issue with the battery and I guess it explains why the clock gets reset.. I'm just guessing here I could be wrong .
Oh btw update on my booking.. delayed for another week and half :/ had booked on 21st last month and they said I'll get my bike mostly by 21st April. The wait is frustrating... Anyone recently got a delivery of RS 200 2017 bs4 graphite black variant ? I wonder what's causing this delay...

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
On some bikes the injector makes more noise than the tappets so people confuse the noise with tappet noise as both make the same tik tik sound.Originally posted by DDR View PostHi guyys,

If the sound in your bike comes from near the black grill where the battery is then it's most likely the injector making this noise.
Also, tappets and valve clearances should be adjusted only on a cold engine.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hello bro. Nothing works directly from alternator. It generates a current with huge volts/wattage. It is transferred to a POSP unit(i do not remember the exact name of it) and from there the stabilized current is transferred to other parts of the electronics including battery.Originally posted by xmoose View PostAnd can anyone with clear knowledge tell me if the alternator charges the battery directly or via a relay.. Like.. The electronics is run from alternator when the bike is running and from battery to start up.. Something like that?
Secondly the meter reset issue should not be due to electrical disconnection or loose connection from power supply, i once disconnected the battery when i blew my fuse to check what actually happened, after changing battery and re-connecting battery terminals the same timing was displayed with few minutes of delay(the time-span while which the battery was disconnected). So this reset issue should not be because of it. I would suggest you to get it checked and get replaced if possible. ASC guys are fools do not entertain any excuse of theirs, get a complain submitted online and see ASC guys dancing in front of you. It will be covered under warranty. Also while getting the fairing off, take care of all proper bolts and their parts, any improper re-installation of fairing would gift you vibration and unwanted noise. Let us know the further status. All the best.Hot Headed Beast
