However can you tell me what would have been the speed you were travelling. If its 100-110 then 38 is good but if it was around 70-90s then itd a little less. Also at what RPM were you changing the gears?
I calculated mileage by following steps -
    1) Fill tank upto brim.
    2) Set trip meter zero and start riding.
    3) At the end of your ride refuel upto the brim again.
    4) Now divide the no. of kms on the trip meter with the litres of fuel consumed to refill the tank.

And my speed was min. 85 and max. 130. But 80% of the time we were cruising in 90s. We barely slowed down to below 85.

      Your friend is quite right.
I rode that bike too for some odd kilometres.
The stability issue arises past 110 kms/h, but before that the moment you get past 90 kms/h the handle bars and footpegs starts vibrating like hell and it becomes very irritating and unbearable. But my friend is used to it and the riding gloves must have helped him a lot.
According to me REs are meant for cruising only between 80-90.

Includes Honda and all other Bajaj products. Guess should be the same for all other makes. I believe it's true at least for motorbikes. But Honda's resale value is usually high, while Yamaha is mediocre. While Bajaj and Hero(non Honda engines) gets the lowest. I don't know your case, but a general piece of advise. If you are checking olx or Quickr, beware of frauds. Many agents these days are trying to sell bikes which met accident or illegally caught in some cases. Go for individual owners, it's wise to always take a know mechanic along with you to test the bike. Ask for all service bills and records.

Well they are owners itself who I am approaching. The price I'm seeing is like 90- 1 Lakhs for a 2012 mid year to end CBR250R with ABS.

Not too sure whether it's really worth that much!

Got the second free service done.

The engine is more refined and smooth now...
The sound has also gained some grunt

Hey guy's after the first service there is a big gap for the second one.

Should I get the oil changed at 2K Kms or should I stick to the regular service interval?

Thanks for the quick reply bro!

Can I switch to Semi Synthetic Oil at 2.5K? Or should I wait a little longer?

No.Not until 7000Kms.Thats the perfect sweet spot for switching to SS or even FS.

AFAIK That tik tik sound is due to rapid cooling of catalytic converter.

Depends how big your pocket is

Basically post run-in it's good to replace with new oil, but still no records of any bike ruined failing to do so. If you think you can afford, then do it. I didn't and many didn't and had no problem. But stick with Bajaj oil.

Yes, but is it even audible?. Nowadays I don't hear with new bikes. Previously with Apache and P220 I could hear that....
