          Or else kawaski's
Rinder is the company which supplies most of lighting elements to bajaj, ktm(indian built), some kawasakis..

Showroom is Amba bajaj HSR, bangalore, but since they don't do pulsar RS200 servicing there, i had to take it to Amba bajaj GBpalya,Bangalore

Since there was no chance of warranty , i had to go with insurance, i din't want to keep my bike in SVC until they respond and get it solved under warranty whic may never happen.

Anyway once i get my bike back i'm raising the issue to whoever it concerns.

Well for now as Sandesh0505 mentioned in #1675, see if you can raise the issue with Bajaj's President. Shoot a mail to Bajaj too in the meantime. If nothing works out, no other option but to cover the damages from your Insurance Policy.

Had to go with insurance, estimated cost given as 7200 (3000 each for the wheel and rest is service cost)

Well, there are two ways to close this issue. one, you can escalate the problem to Bajaj and also post in social media and contact some user friendly media like Motobream or bikeadvise, etc and share your problem. They can surely help. At least I'd advice to give it a try. So that you will be making many people aware of that. Second, ignore these and just get it done with insurance.

But I just can't take the ***shi* talk of what that Bajaj representative gave.

Alloy wheels de-shape, clipons break what the heck are they doing in QC?.
My wishes to bring you back the confidence.

I will raise the issue to Bajaj and try to put on social media.
I had to go with insurance , its already been 1 week since my bike is kept in SVC.

if the wheels get anymore problems i'm getting a better one rather than from Bajaj.

Just write a mail to Bajaj No matter whatever that representative says, they give lame reasons to shut our mouth(they dont want to take a risk in these kind of situations bcz they have to do a paper works and have to report this to HQ),
                  In mail explain everything
Weight of you and your friend,
                  What was your speed,
                  How big was that pothole,
                  What did service guys said,
Why representative is saying it doesnt come under warranty, etc etc
Then dont forget to attach pics.

                        Hey,
Won't be able to see engine oil levels while the bike is on the side stand.
Need to tilt the bike and make it straight to check the level.
Kindly be careful while doing so and take someone's help to hold the bike while you check the engine oil level.

                          Hey guys,

Request for advice on riding gear. Planning on the following:

Riding Jacket: DSG Genesis (Rs 8000)
                          Gloves: DSG Primal (Rs 3000)
Helmet: LS2 or THH (Any idea who sells LS2 or THH helmets in Mumbai? Do not want to order it online)

Please advice if any of you guys know of better riding gear in the same price range or less.

                          Also helmet shops in Mumbai.

                          Thanks.

Check spartan jackets @ Moto101 in khar

Cramster TRG2 is also a good full gauntlet glove. @ LS2 store in Andheri on Linkin road

For helmets avoid LS2 due to the fakes in the market.

Better option would be spartan kranos if your budget is about 3.5k @ Moto101

Or you can even check AH helmets in Andheri near lotus petrol pump. They have spartan products and rynox as well. Hemant bhai will provide discount on some brands for xbhp members

Okay so here's the thing. I am 6'0 and i was confused between RS200 and Gixxer SF.
The things going for Gixxer SF were :
-No nonsense punchy engine for its segment
-Fairing to a Naked bike. Looks sweet

                              Things against it :
                              -Looks short for my height
-Fairing doesnt looks as good when compared to RS200
-Not as much a dedicated riding position as is required for a faired bike. It seems i am sitting on a Naked bike but Voila ! its a faired bike.

                              Things going for RS200:
-Well the whole bike itself. It looks muscular, not too dedicated riding position !!
                              -The power ofcourse
                              - Fuel Injection
-It looks best for my height (pictures attached)

                              Going against RS200:
                              -Its a Bajaj
                              -Recent incidents
-i dont think i can flick it as well and confidently as my old Stunner
-My family members being apprehensive about such a powerful bike.

Actually my heart is with the RS. The pictures, i think, too suggests that it will gel well with my height. Well i guess this might be a one of a kind of question ever asked on this thread. But how should i assure my family members that i will be extra careful with the bike and that they need not worry.

                              Talking about Jackets..
I am a newbie so maybe the question put up by me would seem to be the same.

Which one has the best jackets?
                              Rynox
                              DSG
                              Cramster

(By best jacket i mean safety without burning a hole in the pocket)
