Sorry for posting it here. But i couldnt find the Honda Hornet 160 thread. Any news on when that bike would be launched. Any insider info?
The bikes a Stunner definitely and can actually compete with Gixxer and FZ.

There is a thread in news section which was started about revvfest that Honda conducted showcasing the hornet in Aug. You could use that if its not locked.

On the other hand. To answer your query

Yesterday......I took my bike to highway again and it reached 144 km/ hr....this time without pillion.....it can go beyond that also but wind shield is not enough to take care of that.....engine makes much noise below 70 but after that you can't hear that....control is awesome......seats are a bit tiring.....not much comfortable....today I got motion sensor blue lights for tyres and it looks stunning......I loved it....I am also looking for another horn...will try to add one more......in all I loved it

I am really keen on getting the ABS version, but my only concern is the single channel ABS! How effective is it as compared to a Dual Channel. In a situation of emergency braking, won't the rear still skid? Can ABS owners for the RS 200 shed some light on this please.... Thanks

I have a non ABS and I did couple of hard breaking and the rear went side ways but was controllable , so ABS would be a little bit better on breaking as it will give you more steering input to get out of the rear slide by not locking up the front.

regarding the warranty, in the manual its clearly written as no warranty for second owner.

LOL , Thanks bro. Yeah it does look like one, the agony of watching it everyday was bad.

Will surely do by the end of this week, waiting for some parts to arrive.

Great, what about the weight of the bike, is it an issue?

                  Hi Guys,

Atlas!! I got activation from xbhp admin. Thanks xBHP.
I have been watching this forum for quiet some time and interested to pitch in with like minded folks here.
I am from Bangalore and a proud owner of two weeks old Pulsar RS200 Yellow NON ABS version.

I started commuting to office with this machine from this Monday onward. I am following running-in mode instruction given in the owner's manual religiously.
Few questions in my mind are

                  1. I once parked the bike at 4th floor in my office (driving thru ramp) and noted that coolant(green liquid) started dripping after sometime. I checked the level and found it close to the MAX level.
Is this leaking of coolant liquid normal?
Is it because of driving thru ramp covering four floors?

                  2. My RPM idling is around 1.7 to 2.
Is it common or any problem with my bike?

Guys, looking forward for your comments and suggestions if anything to be corrected.

In manual it clearly written that the second owner won't get the warranty. But, somehow can be managed like the first owner is known to me and have asked him to help me if I need warranty.

Go for ABS version.. it will give u more confidence when u ride in wet/gravel roads which is important for any rider... U will not regret it.. rear wheel lock is comparatively very easy to recover...

But does the rear lock up anyways? If it's under panic braking, I am fine with that happening... Thanks

Also has anyone managed to figure out what crash bars/ guards/ sliders can go on to this bike if any?

Yes for sure. With or without front abs rear tire will skid. But locking two wheels will even be worse, which can be a relief. But on panic changes of skidding and falling is possible.

the only good for abs RS is, you can brake front with confidence on wet and gravel. But on panic braking its 50/50.

Doesn't this make the CBR 250R ABS more effective than RS?

Can anybody comment on these below things,

Is Coolant liquid dripping when drive thru Ramp or (uphill) normal?

What is the idle RPM when ignition is on?
