If you have papers for the current number plate then it's valid till you get the RC & the cops can't bother you.
But they will simply try to extract money saying it's not valid and stuff.
Seems like you will have to go to the RTO and see where the matter lies.

      Not yet buddy

I got a message from RTO that the RC book has been despatched through speed post but post office ppl have no ideas regarding the whereabouts of the RC book. Need to go to the Andheri RTO to dig out my RC book from the clutches of two most inefficient offices in the country: RTO and Post Office!

Has anybody received the RC book in Mumbai so far?

So if the manufacturers gives a wheel that is of low quality and fails at a small impact are we supposed to live with that?
they say if the force exceeds a certain limit the wheel is designed to bend or fail to avoid the impact to the remaining parts including rider,
now i wonder what their limit for this particular force is .. !!
That's totally irresponsible. I expected that anyway.
Well, there are two ways to close this issue. one, you can escalate the problem to Bajaj and also post in social media and contact some user friendly media like Motobream or bikeadvise, etc and share your problem. They can surely help. At least I'd advice to give it a try. So that you will be making many people aware of that. Second, ignore these and just get it done with insurance.

But I just can't take the ***shi* talk of what that Bajaj representative gave.

Alloy wheels de-shape, clipons break what the heck are they doing in QC?.
My wishes to bring you back the confidence.

          Hey Rachit,
          I've received the RC book.
They have stopped issuing the RC card that they used to and send only 1 long receipt that is proof of the papers.

Today when I went to refuel my bike the Shell Petrol bunk guy suggested me to try out their V-power fuel. (This is my first bike so never knew about this fuel before). Filled it for 500 bucks and man I was impressed...! Increased Power delivery, less vibes, amazing POWER! If any of you have not tried this fuel I suggest you to try it once! The only downside is that it is ~7 RS expensive than regular petrol per litre but it was definitely worth it.
I read a bit about it in on the net and hear this - "Shell V-Power is actually 99 per cent the same as the fuel compounds used by the Ferrari F1 team"...!!
Just make sure the quantity of petrol in your tank is very less compared to quantity of V-power you are getting filled in your tank. If anyone knows more about this, please shed some info.
            Cheers!

It is of same octane level as regular. Added additives which may help clean engine deposits. But does it help in improving ride quality?. It has mixed reviews, some say it's good and some I hear all the same. Good if it worked for you. But still Rs.7/liter is costly, right??.

Did a bit more research on that. The octane number is the same as regular fuel i.e., 91 RON. Many people believe that a higher octane level equals higher performance and higher quality but this is not always the case. What makes V-power different (and expensive), is a powerful detergency formulation designed to clean up and prevent the formation of power rubbing deposits, helping the engine to run under optimal conditions and deliver it's performance potential. It contains cleaning and protective elements that both prevent the build up of carbon deposits in the intake valves and fuel injectors while cleaning any deposits that already exists, also preventing corrosion. I felt the ride quality had definitely improved. Yes it is a bit expensive, but using this fuel every now and then (when your pockets feel heavy [emoji6]), will definitely improve the engine life with its cleaning capacity and also in some cases, improving ride quality.
                Cheers...!

                  True that.
I had by chance once filled the same v-power from shell in my disc 125st and yes I too had flt the bike running smoother and more responsive than before. I have read some mixed and debatable discussion on this petrol but after myself experiencing it was really surprised. If u had felt the difference good for you. If you can, whenever possible try to maintain it.

No bro. Haven't tried in my rs. My bike is only 700km old. And I used for a short tour, where I don't have the luxury of it. But if I can I will try to use that whenever possible.

I had felt shell engine oil to be very smooth in other brand bikes. Since it doesn't have the oil grade w50, which is needed for all bajaj engines in general I wasnt able to use shell. I definitely have experienced some awesome effect from shell. They are one amazing engineers for oils. I understand mogul being amazing for our engines,, but you know how greedy we always are when it comes to our rides.

I once put it on my olp P180 and yes i can feel the difference. Its smooth,no lag in power....But my concern is they are putting some sort of addictive on it.Does it actually do any good or may be harms the engine.I know its shell and they will use proper chemicals but how far is it good for an engine to use such chemicals?

I used to use V power in running in period. After that the moment I switched to normal one, I could immediately make out the difference between the two. It became less responsive on lower RPMs and smoothness was reduced by certain amount.
