Hey bro if it is 3M certified then only it is Teflon coating. I believe this coating is only available from Dupont.

Otherwise it may be some cheap coating they will do on your bike, which IMO you should avoid since it may turn out to be harmful to the bike.

    Cheers!

Hello guys....today when took my bike to a ride and stopped on the way, I saw coolant droplets on the flaring. I also saw some coolant patches just above the coolant reservoir cap. I donot know what happened. Can anyone of you guys help me in this? Here are some pics of coolant leakage.....

Looks to me as if the reservoir cap is loose, so when the coolant reaches there instead of staying it's spraying out!

Do get it checked by the SVC. Also don't try to open the cap when the bike is hot, the coolant will splash all over the place and it is toxic! Be careful bro!

There's an overflow pipe for the extra coolant to flow out. Could be that. Just check it once with the service centre

They can't be charging you consumables for the Teflon coating package that you've already purchased from them

You can shift to Motul without any issues.
                            Depends on your usage.
If it's limited to city use and few weekend rides then 5100 - 15w50 is more than enough.
If you keep the bike on higher revs even in the city and while touring as well then 7100 20w50 is the one for you.
300v is an overkill for our machines unless you are taking it to the track regularly and rip the engine in each gear.

                            Avoid 10w40. Manual says 20w50

Had a really bad experience at the service center today [emoji20] (POPULAR BAJAJ BANNERGHATTA ROAD, BENGALURU). Guys from Bengaluru, I request you to stay away from this showroom and service center. Let me tell you why :
                              1. I gave my bike for 2nd service 2 days ago, and I got it delivered today at 4 after going there and getting everything done.
                              2. Called the svc around 20 times, 3 different numbers, no one bloody picks up.
                              3. My service advisor, Mr Prashant, doesn't pick the call too. I seriously wonder why he has got a cell phone.!! At times his no was busy, and the next moment you call him he cuts it. When confronted about it today he tells he doesn't pick up unknown numbers!! [emoji34]

                              4. I waited for 2 hours to get it washed and waxed. I saw all the drama that happens in the service center - the mechanics do what not with your bike!! Skidding the rear wheel, Wheelies, burnouts and maneuvering the bikes around the service center (apparently they were test driving the vehicles when I enquired). Oh and the best part was even the stock vehicles lined up for sales were being "tested" like this. Neither the service advisors nor the managers tell a word to these mechanics. We pay so much for our bikes and take care of it by following run in and riding it very carefully and I feel everything had been in vain. [emoji20]
                              5. One of the stock yellow RS 200 was being checked and I overheard the conversation between mechanic and service manager. Apparently the mechanic tells that a rat had bitten few wires. The service manager's response to that was "Test the bike and if there is nothing wrong with it just drop it back in the showroom and we'll see when the customer complaints"!!
I have already sent a mail to Bajaj explaining everything.
If you guys ever give your bike for service make sure you stay and get it done even if it takes time. I am sure as hell not going there again.
                              Happy and safe riding fellas.
