No way of fitting a gear shift indicator on our bikes yet.

By parking lights, do you means Hazard Lights?

      1. I gave my bike for 2nd service 2 days ago, and I got it delivered today at 4 after going there and getting everything done.
      2. Called the svc around 20 times, 3 different numbers, no one bloody picks up.
      3. My service advisor, Mr Prashant, doesn't pick the call too. I seriously wonder why he has got a cell phone.!! At times his no was busy, and the next moment you call him he cuts it. When confronted about it today he tells he doesn't pick up unknown numbers!! [emoji34]

      4. I waited for 2 hours to get it washed and waxed. I saw all the drama that happens in the service center - the mechanics do what not with your bike!! Skidding the rear wheel, Wheelies, burnouts and maneuvering the bikes around the service center (apparently they were test driving the vehicles when I enquired). Oh and the best part was even the stock vehicles lined up for sales were being "tested" like this. Neither the service advisors nor the managers tell a word to these mechanics. We pay so much for our bikes and take care of it by following run in and riding it very carefully and I feel everything had been in vain. [emoji20]
      5. One of the stock yellow RS 200 was being checked and I overheard the conversation between mechanic and service manager. Apparently the mechanic tells that a rat had bitten few wires. The service manager's response to that was "Test the bike and if there is nothing wrong with it just drop it back in the showroom and we'll see when the customer complaints"!!
I have already sent a mail to Bajaj explaining everything.
If you guys ever give your bike for service make sure you stay and get it done even if it takes time. I am sure as hell not going there again.
      Happy and safe riding fellas.
Thanks bro for the advice. bannerghata SVC seems to be horrendous. I wish and pray that indra nagar svc to be responsible while servicing.

At least you people have a option, I am stuck with single entity Varun Bajaj who cover all of Vizag and neighboring towns. Best part is all of the service centers are absolute $hit and there is nothing I can do about it, I sent numerous emails to bajaj have got nil reply. The probiking accepts every motorcycle from bajaj stable and are always overwhelmed by the number of vehicles coming for servicing and now they also service auto rickshaw under the same roof....just the icing on the cake.??

That's why stopped worrying about warranty all together and just get done free servicing and later on just oil change and few niggles every once or twice a year.

I dint get a reply either from Bajaj after complaining about the service center.. The service manager called me and apologized for the inconvenience caused that's it. Guess that'll be the end of that. And you're definitely right about servicing the bike ourselves every now and then instead of giving it to the svc.

Not possible either. There is a module available for the Duke/RC. I think it fits in the OBD2 port under the pillion seat of those bikes. A company called "SpiralTech" makes them for the Duke.

I'm going to contact them and ask if they are willing to make one for the RS 200. Recently we have found the OBD2 port in the RS. It is located underneath the dashboard tucked away behind the wiring.

Will post if I get a reply. Hopefully I do!

$32 is too much to waste on that thing. Can we get a pair of nice mirrors with integrated indicator lights on it ? like the one which super bikes use ?

Hi all... I have yellow rs200 and in break in period... Can anyone confirm about the ideal rpm limit for first 500 kms and then the next 1500kms... I want in rpm and not in speed... I can see the speed in manual... I know this is a repeatedly asked question but this thread is too big to read all... Thanks in advance...

Also a suggestion, pls put speed and rpm limit during engine breaking In period, in the very first post of any bike official bike review from xbhp... Bcoz it helps a lot... I'm not sure if its already there, if so I apologize...

                            Depends on your usage.
If it's limited to city use and few weekend rides then 5100 - 15w50 is more than enough.
If you keep the bike on higher revs even in the city and while touring as well then 7100 20w50 is the one for you.
300v is an overkill for our machines unless you are taking it to the track regularly and rip the engine in each gear.

                            Avoid 10w40. Manual says 20w50
thanks bro.. i like to know about the chain oil too.. motul or 3m??

worst case for me too ... my bike went for 1st service.. after ten days i faced so many problems.
1.i start the bike on morning and gone for 500 meters the bike will struck or gets blocked.it run like a carbbike who doesnt open their fuel knob..
2.electrical components gets loose.. if i on the headlights all the display light gets off.. i need to tilt somewhat to bring back that.
