Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Accident with the very same bikeOriginally posted by madhulmr View PostWelcome to RS Family Judebrent.
I am 5 4 only and I feel comfortable with riding RS. I initially started riding this bike with flipflops as I was injured in my leg by an accident. I never faced any difficulty in handling in traffic other than bike weight at that time. Now I am used to that weight and also gained control over the Vehicle.
Give it a time and you will be flying bro..

That's why owners are advised to take their bike and get a feel of it rather than pushing for top end and acceleration. First thing to do is check the braking time and effect, plus observe the wheel lock conditions and store it in mind. But mostly we keep seeing them doing 120 or 130 kph on day 1 itself.Originally posted by Kumar_1417 View PostWell said buddy....knowing your bike is of utmost importance.....breaks, speed, control, flickering, etc changes with ones use of bike.....

Sounds good, if you feel confident enough please go ahead and get one. As i said, buy insoles for shoes which can help you well. I think you should give treat and royalty to Rachit for giving you a chance to try for it. Good going fellas...!!!Originally posted by judebrent View PostI am looking at moving on from the KArimza to the pulsar RS 200 for ABS and the added safety it brings along with it!
Now it's decision time...

Yes they are hard, better than Duke. But again, if you add gel pads, height shall increase but marginally. But gel pads are costly tooOriginally posted by judebrent View PostI found the seat hard, is it so? Will need some padding there too

Can't we go to the seat guys and have them re do the foam, forget the harness for now, would taking a layer of foam out help reduce the height a bit?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi All,
This is my first post in this forum. I own RS 200 Red (ABS) since Sep'15, so far covered 2200 KM (1st service completed). I would say, am one of the victims for Chennai flood. Though, I did not drove much in flood water, but unfortunately I had to take my bike in water (at water level till wheel), just to keep my engine on, I drove in high throttle at 1st gear for at least 2 km distance and reached home. There were no issues, bike were performing well as usual. Later, all of the sudden I could see a dip in pickup, especially above 80 KMS, after few days things had worsen as my bike is not going beyond 40 KMS speed. Contacted KLN SVC in Anna Nagar Chennai, currently they are not ready to collect the bike for service, as their workstation was affected due to flood and there are lots of bikes are due for service which was received before. currently am waiting for SVC to be fully functional. worried about my new bike :-(
Can any one please suggest or share your views about this issue. what could be cause, 1) is it because of full throttle (holding the clutch)and drove in 1st gear for longer period, 2) or because of water which would have gone inside clutch plate. 3) not able to think beyond this. Please suggest
