Would this help reduce the height slightly?
The adjustment can adjust only stiffness or softness ,not height .
Overall height of shock absorber will remain always same . [emoji41]

Friends, I bought a 2 month old RS with abs from a used up bike dealer. Previously, the first owner was a 14 year old guy. I asked dealer why this guy sold RS only in 2 months. He replied that the owner was a small guy and this bike was too heavy for him. He gave me his address and phone number. I asked for the documents and he gave me all the docs right from bill to temporary rc. He also gave me the id of first owner. Finally, I bought the bike for 1 lakh and five thousand. Bike was on road from last 1300 km. I asked for service manual and he gave it to me after 15 days. I took the bike to service centre and get a paid service done. Now the bike is smooth and no hearing problems. Service centre guy told me that thebfirst service was not done. I checked the bike an dnow everything is ok. Bike is smooth and good. I have completed just 2300 km now. I got the registration number now.

Guys, the bike is a monster. Go race it sometimes, but with utmost safety, if you feel confident. I also read about proper braking techniques and that have helped me a lot from this very forum.
To all the new RS owners: I would like to strongly advice against

The difference in height was close to 1 inch. This is just an alternative to get the bike seat little lower by playing around suspension.

Thanks, and did that affect the handling in anyways?

Adjusting to softer setting takes a big hit on handling, you'll loose the confidence when taking corners or dodging potholes. The height differences would be very minimal as about an inch. That's because the suspension level decreases once you seat in, and you can expect a little change. Did you try a high heal shoe?.

And for you judebrent, don't push your luck on olx/quickr. Not everybody has such cheating intention though, but you also have to remember, main reasons to sell a new bike would be

"Unlucky, Accidents, More of bike issues, Not suitable to ride or less comfort"

My best advice is, find a bike that fits your needs very best and don't get adapted to a bike just because you like it or love it (That's my opinion). Sometimes, it's sad to give up your dream bike, but considering safety and other aspects, this has to happen this way. Because this isn't your mobile or laptop, but a live motorbike, which can take you from hell to heaven or vice versa

Not that RS200 doesn't fit you well, but at least you need to make yourself seated properly, able to handle the worst case during traffic or B2B rides, consider even I'm 5'11 and when rolling over ramp, I've had bad times too. If you can get such shoes, change seats, etc that's okay, but all that is going to change is less than an inch, but you hardly are able to touch the ground with toes, which in my case seems "NOT POSSIBLE"

Try Duke 200 (because the ride height has fit well for many short people, and weighs 28Kgs less), or wait for few months. Pretty sure, TVS Apache 200 with ABS is to be launched by feb 2016 and we also have 200NS FI bikini fairing launch as well, a big come back. You might want to wait and see, you'll get plenty of choices.

And for other owners, Please don't adjust the monoshock and let it be in stock. Have seen numerous issues post adjusting the mono, even after resuming it to stock setting to 2 notch.

I just met up with Rachit again today and this time took it for a 5.7 KM run! I was fine with the weight, stopping at signals, taking turns and getting my foot down! So on the whole, I think with a matter of time, I should get used to this. But as you pointed out, I am looking at moving on from the KArimza to the pulsar RS 200 for ABS and the added safety it brings along with it!

Now it's decision time...

Welcome to RS Family Judebrent.

I am 5 4 only and I feel comfortable with riding RS. I initially started riding this bike with flipflops as I was injured in my leg by an accident. I never faced any difficulty in handling in traffic other than bike weight at that time. Now I am used to that weight and also gained control over the Vehicle.
Give it a time and you will be flying bro..
