CBR250 is a lot better bike in all area against RS200. It is a quarter liter bike, good torque to cruise all day at high speed. Two bad things are the riding position and cost. You can add Honda service too in that list . But to own it you need 70+ more

I guess he's referring to the overall finish, refined engine, better ABS system as compared to the RS200!

Vibes are normal from 4-5K rpm. If they are present in top end of rev range then tell SVC to check it.

Can anybody comment on these below things,

Is Coolant liquid dripping when drive thru Ramp or (uphill) normal?

What is the idle RPM when ignition is on?
No clue about coolant dripping, but my bike idles at 1.7K rpm from day 1. The auto-choke kicks in if the bike is really cold and bike will start at 2K rpm sometimes, but it comes down to 1.6-1.7K after a minute or two.

I went for a trip from Ahmedabad to Udaipur 3 days ago with 2 other bikes - Classic 350 and FZ V2.0. It was a 2 day trip.
Total distance covered was 520 kms including city ride in Udaipur.
This trip made me love and adore my bike even more!
It was at this time I really got to know the potential of the bike.
We maintained our speed between 90-110 kms/h. The engine was very smooth and vibration free all the time.
It was rock solid at 130 km/h with a lot of windblast.
I didn't fell any pain riding throughout the day. Only time I felt pain on my shoulders and back was when I switched to other 2 bikes for a few kilometres. I was just not able to stand them for more than 10 mins. Maybe because it has been more than 6 months of riding RS200.
It cornered very well even on the roads with potholes, I felt really confident during cornering unlike on the other 2.
The only problem I faced was getting out of the corner at speed higher than 110 km/h. It wasn't that much quick, maybe because of its weight, but it is very negligible in front of its plus points.
I also got really nice mileage too. In 52o kms, total fuel consumed was 13.68l which is around 38kms/l. Yes I checked it by tank to tank method so it's pretty much accurate.
I was pretty doubtful earlier of my decision but now I'm very pleased with the bike.
It shows its true colors on curves and highways.
Trust me when I say this, if you want a beginner sportbike with comfortable riding position, powerful engine and mileage too, RS200 is really a best choice in the segment.
I'm not much photogenic so I didn't click any pictures of the bikes but the ride was really awesome!
Strong advice to all the owners - Don't let your bike rot and get hot in the city. Take her out on a date on open highways and ghats with curvy roads and watch how she makes you fall in love with herself!

                  Depends on the bike bro.

My friend has a newer ZMR (the one which EBR designed) which has more vibration's than my bike, and lacks power in the top end of the rev range.

After riding his bike I felt my RS to be very very smooth (my friend agreed) except the few vibes in the mid range. His bike also has this very annoying "tak tak tak" sound from the engine while he rides it. The seating position also takes some time to get used to. Overall I found the RS to be a much better bike.

Now the older ZMR on the other hand, I don't know since I never rode it, but people say it has less vibes than the newer model. So I guess you can ask in the respective thread about that.

                  Hope this answers your question.

thats a pretty good mileage for an engine which is also extracting so much performance out of the single block!

Seems line a nice ride. However can you explain how did you calculate the mileage.I steps.
However can you tell me what would have been the speed you were travelling. If its 100-110 then 38 is good but if it was around 70-90s then itd a little less. Also at what RPM were you changing the gears?

Please don't take it wrong way bro. In no way I'm against RS200, it's a wonderful package. Plus I don't them, only said from my TD experience. Some points on the rival model

                          1. Bike has good torque for it's weight, torque kicks very early which gives very quick boost.
                          2. Engine refinements are good, little harshness at some zones, but niggles always there
                          3. C-ABS, best I'd vouch for even today
                          4. Fairing is plain and decent fit and finish, no jiggles (quality)
                          5. Seats are very good, for pillion too.
                          6. Wider tires, bike stability

On the downside, the riding position seemed like Apache. I just hate it, then costs more. I had only TD experience with both bikes, bribed the pillion svc guy to get some more 15 mins of decent fast ride . My colleague has it, but he never gave it once , but that's good. Lending bike is not recommended. Anyway every bike has it's problem. Anyway blindly not going forward that, I just told from my experience.

But RS200 appeared better than my latest gen NS in many department except weight and hence handling. No fairing vibrations and the rev range has been extended than NS/AS, giving a good cruising speed at lower RPM, but I didn't cross beyond 80+ considering it was a TD after all. But Bajaj has cleverly short geared to compensate for it's weight lag. Swap the NS rear sprocket and RS can do 146+ kph speeds (true speed, Not the speedo one), but will severely suffer from acceleration.

This time unlike NS, the dealer here in Chennai had a separate bike for TD, which previously they had for Duke but not for NS. Because of the pricing I think they consider RS as premium motorcycle and treat well, but for NS it was treated like just another P220 , I was given a poor NS for TD and that too the bike was an old gen. This is the case with many dealers. I see bribing the TD assistant will help you let drive for additional time.

Older ZMR, many call that as bucket model, no offense; it was good in engine refinement than new ones.

Nice to hear. But I can't help myself believe that CL350 was able to maintain 90-110 kph?. My friend owns CL350 2015 model, complains that exceeding beyond 90 kph makes it simply not stable and he couldn't keep in pace with me. He did a proper run-in and maintained it well in fact. Interesting.

Don't worry about coolant leaking.. wait for the coolant level to come down to minimum. then do top up.. leakage wud stop by then..
