Do you really need Pulsar logo,
If not, instead of spending 900/-Rs for logo pay 1000/- for 3M clear coat wrap for tank, its worth alot than that logo!!

      Hey,
People from the NS days have been facing the issue of logo chipping off from the edge.
Even if you put new logo it will end up chipping off in a couple of weeks.

This happens because when u bike the bike there will be 2 white tapes pasted.if u open it within 3 months of buying the bike then the R chips off

Good point. The black one is really refined and Bajaj seems to have solved all the niggles that were present in the Red and Yellow versions.

I understand what you guys are sayin. The problem is the "r" is chipped off so badly it looks ugly. It's spoiling the looks of the tank and it's noticeable without actually looking for it. It has left a black mark of glue underneath. I'll post a picture if I can. It's not just the paint on the logo, the entire letter "r" has come off!

I didn't have those tapes from Day 1. So I put some scotch tape on both sides. Apparently this is what caused the logo to break and also due to the heat.

I am planning to put a 3M coating in December but for that I have to go Thane which is quite far.

I'm going to attend my cousin's wedding ceremony, after returning I'll ask the dealer all the details. Thanks for your response guys!

Not always possible to keep the tape pasted. There are millions of people around who end up fiddling with the bike

True that... My bike had that white tapes which looked very ugly... While delivery the guy told me don't remove those tapes, they themselves will fall away after few months...

After two months and lot of drenching in rain also, the tapes were intact so I removed the tapes very very carefully leaving a big glue mark... But still the logo seems unfinished and tad weakly glued...

Moral of the story is whatever you do on this bike, the logo is to come off some day because of the cheap finishing... It is you who has to decide you want it to or not

I too was about to say. I wish Bajaj shall keep some different name that will ensure these new models will be in premium bikes segment[emoji6]

                    Hey everyone,

I am facing issue with both my RS200's, there is slight sound(tik-tik-tik-tik) coming from the engine what seems like sound of the tappet.

I approached the service center had a nice argument they showed me two other RS200 and both had the sound and service center says its normal.

Are any of you guys facing the same problem and even the exhaust sound is off , I mean there is a after air escaping sound when engine is in idle.

Exactly. Actually I didn't remove it not because it'd fall off soon, but to help prevent that sharp edges scratching my son's hand when he rides with me.

Bro the engine til tik sound is normal i guess. My RS also makes the same noise and my mechanic said that he has experienced similar tik tik noise from NS 200 as well. I guess thats how all the triple spark engines are.

                                1. Thud sound from front suspension.

                                2. Vibes between 4-5K RPM.

                                3. Tappet sound on idle.

                                etc. etc.

If you don't have any issues you're a lucky dude!

Have fun with your ride buddy!
