Is this normal?
Yea its normal if ABS indicator glows when your engine is ignited on idle. But once you start to rolling it is supposed to be go off after 8kmph. And if it is continuing the indicator then check with SVC.

Best of all the girls never noticed any of this happening, truly a close call! [emoji1]
Dude, you should never do it. It can lead to muscle spasm. Never try to hold the bike from falling, you really can't lift it alone. Rather leave it down slowly with the support of your hand. At least by that you are making sure it falls slowly and doesn't fall abruptly which can cause even more damage to fairing.

That stupid monkey was quite quick and with his force my bike fell off right in front of me! It was a heart breaking moment for me. I tried to lift her back but it fell on an Aloe Vera plant so I couldn't do it all by myself. I called some neighbours to help and then finally it required 3 men to lift her all the way up.
That's really bad. But are you sure the Monkey pushed your bike?. I just can't believe that Monkey has so much power. It could be a relative of Jai Hanuman
One of the reason why one should park in side stand is, for someone or something to push the vehicle, it needs too much effort almost double the weight of the motorcycle to push it to the other side, but center stand makes things easy for falling.

Appreciate the advice. I was pretty pissed off when i first dropped it, mainly because it wasn't entirely my fault. Bu yeah, once the bike starts tipping, it's damn near impossible to stop . I actually pulled a muscle in my leg trying to straighten it but to no use, walked for a few days with a limp, bent gear lever and a broken heart.
That's cool. By the way, why did you remove the transparent windshield?. Matte finish doesn't look that pleasing. Overall a lot better than stock

My bike had fallen multiple times(specially due to slippery surface) but each time i managed to control it .(only 1nce when i had given it 2 my friend he dropped it and gear lever and clutch handle had broken) . All i can say is 1nce you get used to this bike (be sure to take a before and after picture of your calf muscles(soleus, gastro) , your calfs are going to be better than bodybuilder calfs. This bike is truly very heavy and the only issues i have found is turning on algae and reversing on deep slope but i am able to barely handle it.You guys will get used to it, my area is full of algae so i have had 2 much half drop catches with my bike. We really need a center stand for the R.S . IF and when you sit on the yamaha and other bikes they will feel like cycles after sitting on the R.S. Even enfield feels light.

1.For engine oil, using a 20W50 specification as BAJAJ DTSI oil, logically i really dont think an issue will be there however, anybody who has tried this method of top with different oil but same specification can tell better. hence waiting for more replies.
            2. In the attachment, i've put pictures: First is, at the start of the day when engine is cold, i hardly see any engine oil in the window. Note: Bike was straight when pics were taken. the second picture, after i have commuted for around 10KM, the window is almost full. Did anyone else note the same behavior? Is it advisable to top up?
            3. Another pic is that of fallen screws from bottom of engine. I suppose the reason is vibrations that loosen the nuts. had same issue with my CT100. any method to keep them in place permanently?
1). To check engine oil level ride the bike or let it idle for about 10 min. If still not visible top it off. Do not mix any two grades of oils together. Always use recommended oil. The grade and viscosity is according to the climate in India. Using third party oils may damage the bore.
2). Never mix two coolants together either. The chemicals are not same. I own a duke 390 and the coolant used in that is callee ethylene glycol, probably the same is used in the rs. It may lead to deposits in the expansion tank or the radiator. First drain the coolant from the radiator and the expansion tank then flush the system with distilled water. Then top up with new coolant.
3). Try adding rubber washers to reduce vibes.
What do you call a biker who does not wear a helmet? An organ donor.

              Hey dude. Just one request.
Can you please make a vidio of your bike in good lighting and focus more on the body of the bike and upload it on YouTube? I'm also thinking of removing all those stickers as they have already started to feel off from the edges.

I understand what you and the others are saying.

However I'm a newbie and this is my first ever big bike. I just couldn't let my baby kiss the ground only a week after she got out of the showroom floor.

I had no clue the bike would weigh that much, and I still can't believe I was able to stop it from falling. You could call it determination, as in this case I did not under any circumstance want her to hit the ground.

But thanks a lot for all the concern guy's. Now I know what to do if it happens (I hope it doesn't) ever again.

                Cheers!

Hahaha.... Enfield weighs ~187 Kgs , Just ~20KGs more than RS200. Hope Bajaj will beat that record with RS400

Hi guys. Got a small problem.
My bike has done nearly 2000kms. So I have increased the RPM to 6-7k. And the problem is that whenever I'm decelerating from 5k or 6k and if I use the only the clutch to full extent, there occurs a sound in the rear wheel. I think it might be coming from the rear disc because I can feel the sound from the brake lever. It occurs occasionally though. It will go as soon as I release the clutch. Anyone knows what might be the problem?
And this started from an incident when one of my friend (really pro with wheelies and stoppies and things) did a stoppie with my bike. Just once or twice. I was right there, he didn't damage anything. That might be the cause anyone think?

Stop using the bike & check for loose nuts ,its risky to drive with loose Axel or anything

Do read your manual thoroughly. It has many useful info about your bike.

First of all stunt related debates are not allowed in xbhp. Since you are asking a remedy and I'm quite surprised to ask this. Anyway stating here out of my curiosity, I don't understand how one can lend their lovely motorbikes to friends, that can be acceptable when your close friend asks for a ride, but secondly, that too for a stunt...!! . Do you really want to destroy this masterpiece?. Damages needn't be visible. Easily it could've blown rear shocks, swing-arm wear, loosening of engine mounts or even chances for a wheel misalignment causing a permanent long term issue. By the nature of Physics, when returning from stoppie, the bikes takes a heavy toll from it's own weight + rider weight + momentum. This force is more than enough to damage components. And now not to mention RS which weighs at least 15-25 Kgs heavier typically as compared to other equivalent models. Hence it can take more than what a P220 would take.

In your case, check for the disc plate alignment. Scratching sound or squeaky sound?. With engine disconnected, the wheel rotates freely and makes less sound and more likely you get the chance of hearing the sound. Park it in neutral and try rotating it. Try putting it in 1st gear (if you have center stand) and observe with and without clutch. And as @vvk1999 suggested, please check for any cracked or broken joints, also for the missing nuts or bolts as well. Don't ride with it. If you can't figure it out, take it to svc, but never tell them about stunts, because it may not be entitled for warranty claims(I hope). And remember street bikes are not meant for these.

Ride safe bro, post here if the problem gets resolved.

Very good explanation provided by jbm_guy in previous post.

I never give my bikes to anyone, not even my own brother!

On Topic: Guys I'm thinking of pouring in Motul Oil after the first service. Is it okay if I do so?

Can anyone tell me the complete name of the oil good for the RS? Thanks a lot!
