  • Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience

Guys...today I Rode my pulsar for 400 km...from Delhi to seriska wildlife sanctuary. Me along with one of friend started at 9 in the morning and it took around 3 and half hours to reach there.... I Rode it for about 100km and my friend too. Machine was awesome on highways and i was above 100km/hr most of the times. Its winter here in Delhi and it was too cold on the highway.
We managed the cold and enjoyed the ride. I would like to share my experience with the machine here.
Machine take off was quick and smooth. No probs at all. Good at highway with very good pick up and control...I was not able to cross 125 km/hr in the whole trip. I was amused. Anyways that's not a big problem. I got 33 km/ltr average. It burnt 12 litres of fuel for 400kms. I would say its a good one for such a harsh ride. My bike stopped several times when I pulled the clutch in traffic. I think there is some issue in the coordination of clutch and Fi system. In addition, engine makes much noise which is very amusing and annoying. In the evening after 300 kms, bikes flaring is making too much noise. I need to fix it tomorrow. Will see if everything n is ok. Projector lamps are awesome and I enjoyed riding in the bright light of the machine. However, low beam is a bit useless on highways but high beam is awesome. I am thinking of replacing low beam with the high beam bulb. In all, everything is ok til now. I will check my bike in the morning and will see for any breakage as I crossed many potholes on the way. One cannot control when he is on 120km/HR.
In all, I will give 6 on 10 marks.
Guys, I met a team of triumph superbikes ion the way and everyone had a look on my pulsar and one of them shake his head and showed his thumps up sign. I was like in the air.
One more I want to share is the pillion seat. Not very good...one cannot sit on it for more than 1 hour. Even, the riders seat I found it a bit hard....at the end I had pain in buttocks and back.

Great to hear that man! I agree, the pillion seat is nothing but a way to experience hell on earth. And yes the riding seat is a bit too rigid if you're running long distances.

Try pirelli tyre which comes in benelli TNT 300.
                  It is awesome... very sticky.
the larger and meatier 120/70/R17 at the front and 160/60/R17 rubber at the rear from Pirelli that offers impressive grip levels*

Thanks, does this also work with all bikes with fuel injectors? Also can it be added later on into the tank or only while refueling?

                    Thanks

                        • Pulsar RS 200 water draining issue

                          Hello Guys,

I have just bought my Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. I has been 4 days since I bought it.
I have a minor water drainage issue.
Some water droplets are dripping down near below the engine (I guess near exhaust manifold). I don't know exactly.

                          Is it normal?

I would not recommend anyone to put these oil in fuel tank of any fuel injector bike.... it might choke the fuel injector..

As long as it is water droplets its fine, means your engine is performing efficiently. You can google it up n read for yourself.

I think Iftex system G can be used for FI equipped petrol vehicles. Atleast its recommended in many petrol cars by the manufacture. I dont know much about ADON p ,but i think it too can be used as it helps to clean the fuel injectors. Just make sure ADOn p is recommended for fuel injected vehicles.

And if your using These solution, add the proportionate quantity. Also use it every 3 to 4 tanks. Dont have to use to it with every full tank.
Google should be of much more help :-)

150/70/r17 seems to be the ideal upsize to the stock tyre, well within tolerance limits. If you do upsize your stock tyre with this please post a review on effect on performance, stability and mileage. The current stock tyre looks too puny without the tyre hugger.
