  • Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience

Guys I've come across a few issues. I hope someone knowledgeable enough can guide me through them.

    1. Discovered a hole in the underbelly exhaust today, it's leaking something (oil?) as soon as I park the bike.

    2. There is a strange spot in the dash behind the tachometer needle, it's like there is some oil or fluid that's dripping or spilling from behind the assembly. It's been there from day one and hasn't grown big or small.

    3. Squeaky brake. Front brake has started to squeak (not that bad) and also squeaks when I turn the handlebar towards right side and move at a steady pace without applying the brake.

Also, the empty thread with no screw that was being discussed earlier. I've found that there is no screw in it on my bike either.

If someone can, please do provide some explanation. It'll be much appreciated. Thanks.

Everything is fine n it has to be in that way,
About silencer it is drain hole i think,
Oil droplet in tachometer may be it happened during assembling,
Holes without screws its common even its absent with my friends,
Take a look at bikes in showrooms they all got bare holes..

Waiting period varies from town to town. Check this with couple of delers from your city.

        And black too

+1 to the stability.. Its Rock solid at high speeds.. Even at 120 Km/hr high cross winds are unable to shake this one. I always feel like riding a SUV after crossing 100 Km/hr

Also never guess your bike capability when it is in Ride in Period. No matter what bike is that.. It will prove you wrong in everyway when you are done with ride in period

The squeaky brake issue you are talking about is also in my fz fi. The squeaky sound also comes when I move the handle bar left right. It vanquished temporarily after a pressure wash but came back in a week. If you find a solution to this problem, please do inform me bro.

          RIDE WITH DIGNITY .

Thanks a lot for the reply bro!

If you, or someone else can confirm that this is indeed a drain hole, I'll be very relieved! Please try.

In my case the sound comes only when the bike moves slowly (like 2-3 Km/h) and only on the right side.

However, I'm going to SVC tomorrow. If they fix it/tell me what it is, I'll PM you the details.

            Thanks!

An off topic, please take a look at this. Hope you guys are aware of the recent bglore drag racing accident which killed all four. Poor fellows, no helmet and no gears, but riding with a lac plus bike, can't afford to buy a 2k helmet?. How idiotic?...Riding jacket is a secondary but helmet is the most important. If you are emotional, don't watch.

ABS is only for emergency and doesn't mean that it will help us every time. Please guys,
                Drive safe.

                      Hello guys,
Actually I'm facing an issue like when I'm at speed of somewhat 20-25 km/h+/- little bit, then I di-acclerate me bike and press the clutch the rpm stays on 2.5k-3k for a while(2-3 secs) then it goes down. It should go down asap na. Is it the auto choke working. My bike has clocked 131 kms as of now on odo but . And I'm facing this since starting. Is it normal guys? I was thinking for asking about the same but I got busy in another stuffs..

It was indeed in Bangalore. One of my friends was there. He was having nightmares after all this.
alot of the people fled the scene as soon as possible without helping them.

The four bikers shown in the video you posted are tn bikes.

Second, where in blore airport does a service road have a arrow marker?

Third, if you watch the video in YouTube, you can clearly see none of those cars are not Indian.

Someone has taken you for a ride LOL

                            The incident happened in Malaysia.

                            Besides this is off topic.

P.S. if you watch the original video you can clearly see all the bikes are naked bikes and the riders are lying down flat on the seat. Morons.

All bikes have this. Check any bike. It's exhaust drain hole for water or any liquid.

                              2. There is a strange spot in the dash behind the tachometer needle, it's like there is some oil or fluid that's dripping or spilling from behind the assembly. It's been there from day one and hasn't grown big or small.

If you can't clean it from outside even with petrol then it's a assembly issue.

                              .
