Try increasing air pressure it will help to mitigate the vibes to some extent.. FYI : Don't increase the air pressure beyone 30 and 40PSI in the Front and Rear. The bike will skid more easily with increased pressure esp if you are using those EUROSLIPS.

By the Term newer Model, it's meant to be for NS. The new ones with dual tone colors have lesser vibes than old one with solid colors.

Regarding the Bulb issue, ask in NS forum, there are a lot of people who has changed to HID's or 90/100W lamps even without any relaying.
    Thanks for the incite...
My chain was tightened a bit after the first service so maybe ill look into that.
Ill search around the NS thread for more info on the headlight upgrade.

I dont want to play around with the warranty and can manage to ride with the high beam but its not possible to do this all the time as cars immediately switch on their high beam and dazzle when the see my high beam.

        Regards
Going anything above 60W needs more care. Relay doesn't help, but just saves your costly switches. A higher wattage sinks like this 100w halogen (usually cars use this) can suck more amount of current enough to burn the wires and it's connection. Also the bulb will fluctuate if your RPM is less than say 3000. If you forget to turn off when in neutral for few minutes, the battery will discharge very soon. High wattage halogen might melt the reflector, whereas HID projectors are cooler and LED even better.

I have LED projector, but not good as HID in brightness and throw. Stay away from them. Also, the white light is not that great, gets scattered and saturates. Only on pitch dark it helps. I'd advice you to stay with stock. As the RS stock is 55W for low and 65W for high. a 100W halogen can be fixed, but again, but if battery gets drained, you're gone. I wouldn't mind that doing on a carb bike like NS, but RS being an FI machine, more care needs to be taken.

HIDs eat typically half of that power and double the brightness than what you have today. But white light doesn't impress on long run and disturbs opposite lane drivers.

I felt that the front wheel took most of the impact and dint feel anything for the rear wheel. But to my surprise the rear wheel rim got bent leading to loss of air pressure.Front wheel Also has a small dent on its rim but not that severe, hence air was still intact.
I managed (without the pillion rider)to a nearby mechanic shop (5km from the spot ) thanks to tubeless tires , unfortunately the mechanic said he cant fix the dent.
i was about 30km away from my place and we decided to fill air and drive as far as possible. We refilled at possible places on the route(petrol pumps). I was able to reach my place like this(3 times the air had to be refilled). I dont know how this would have affected my bike. Today i'm taking to the service center.

What all things i should ask them to check?
will i get warranty for my wheels?

        please let me know.
Reminds me of the alloy wheel incident again. Bloo** Bajaj. At speeds like 50 kph, this should never happen. Doesn't matter if the bike weighs a hell. There are bikes weighing over a quarter ton and still do it fine. You MUST press this issue. The irresponsible answer they gave for RS alloy wheel incident was very silly and this even provokes me . Take care bro. Always watch out for potholes and ride slow. After the RS incident, I take at most care for my NS when taking a pothole even till date . Trying to avoid as much as possible.

Those ***ers will not cover this in warranty. Any sideways damage to tires will make them unusable. Just check that once. You can take a picture and send it to Bajaj customer care and escalate this. Also share the picture here... Might be helpful.

        Thanks.

The engine is not what hits the speed brakers but the bike has some two or three dholkis (my mechanics language) at the bottom one of which is the silencers that hits the ground. Nothing to worry about but just a tip that may help. When almost near to the speed breaker dont use the front break as it compresses the front shocks which reduces the ground clearance of the bike instead use the rear and go very slow over it. You could also try going a little slant over the speed break.
Exactly what I was about to write, any Idea how to get rid of the front suspension sound?

I suspect the fork oil, not sure. I've had it at the time of my second service. The svc guy fixed it even though I forgot the mention that problem. Post that, no issues at all.

Kool Bro , can you ask your svc what exactly did they fix? as it will be great help , I am suffering with both my RS having similar problem.

                You sure about your speed,
Because i ve ridden over potholes at 60kmpl and i havent faced any bent issues, due to forward biased weight of RS you feel extra shock from front wheel, less in rear,
Bottom does scratches speedbreaker if you are riding pillion!!
                Do post your pictures!!
                Rear wheel rim bent😂 lol!!

yeah i'm very much sure about my speed, might be less than 50kmph. mine is a new bike and is still in run in period, including this trip only 300 km done, first service not done, so i was keeping the speed under 50, also it was night time and there were two other bikes for the trip , of which one was new too, so we both were in run in and kept the speeds below the limits

                      Even mine is new!!
                      Just 800+
And im not sticking to 50kmph limit,
Untill now i havent faced any, any problems (not much vibrations, noises, tak tak sounds, thud sounds, rear brake biting problems etc.. Etc..)
Do post pic so every1 can see, and some1 will sure bring yur incident to bajaj authority and they may sue their product suppliers...

Regarding headlight just change osram original 55w to osram night breaker 55w!!!
Dont remove stickers it just decreases visibility of your bike in night!!!

Proper bike wash, engine oil change(never ever mix the 3M addictive they give doesn't matter what they say.just engine oil),brakes might be less after diesel wash but that's fine, normal checks and that's about it.they have a set of things they do so nothing to worry about.
If you have any problems in the bike then try to rectify it there

                            Hey jbm_guy,

Its been a week since I bought my bike, and I have ridden approx 200 to 300 kms (odo not connected due to registration not being done yet (RTO on leave for diwali)).
My coolant level has gone below min mark.
Yes I ride at low rpms (3.5k to 5K) and also ride a low gears (very rarely go above 4th gear) - This is for the run in.
Is it due to this that my coolant levels have fallen?
                            Any suggestions/advise?
Especially on the run in. I keep the rpm at 3.5 to 5K and up shift accordingly to maintain that rpm levels. Is this fine or should I be at lower gears and maintain rpm?

                            Thanks in advance buddy.

                              Hi,

My coolant level also got down below min when i reached around 250 km. Later i noticed coolant was actually leaking. Talked about that here.. people suggested it might be coolant overflow... I took the bike to SVC and did top up.. it costs around 60 rupees. I have completed 3000 km now coolant level have not dropped since then.

Thats fine, but Bro, why did you disconnect odo?. Without odo reading reaching ~ 500, they don't service (at least most of them). Note you may have to wait a month time. Anyway you three weeks for due, better watch out.....!!!

For many, the coolant level came down to min mark before first service. But post that it won't come down easily... Unless it leaks or overflows. But dont ride without topping up coolant if the level is below min.

So don't worry. Follow run in as said in manual....

And please don't ride for more than 500kms without servicing.

By t the way, how on earth did you know you have run 200kms with odo disconnected bro? [emoji33] [emoji26]
Don't ride excess kms before first service, take care.
