Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Sorry bro. I am also new for this RS. Hard to locate it in our bike. I have got some info from NS 200. It is better not to do DIY.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostAny idea where it is located?
So I can at least get it checked. Thanks!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi Guys,
I have been facing a issue from the first day but I'm not sure whether this will be considered as a problem or not. When I shift from 1st gear to neutral or from 2nd gear to neutral, the display takes sometime to display the "N" sign, Sometimes I even have to move bike a little bit , then the display shows me the "N" sign. Is this a normal working scenario? has anyone come across this kind of problem ??

I look best when I take my helmet off, I have a glow on my face and a bit of helmet hair ;)

Ask for refund of your booking amount and then try in other dealerships in your city.Originally posted by Sanket s View PostHey guys I have booked a rs200, but the showroom guy is giving me a bike with 3 scratches on it.. and he says next lot will come after 2 months.. Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi Guys,
Yesterday I removed the front mud guard and tested the bike on potholes and speed breakers, surprisingly there was no thud noise. After that I was looking at the mud guard and found there was some cable marks. Currently they run the cable under the fork frame (I don't know the exact name). I am planning to run the cable to the left side fairing (Like pulsar 220).
Very poor design. I am wondering how designers/engineers ignore some basics.
Is there any way to extend the cable by using connectors (Plug and play type). I am not worrying about warranty. I just want to get rid of from the thud noise.
Any suggestions?

Same here. A bit of paint has been scraped off due to the cable.Originally posted by 2008venkatesh View PostHi Guys,

Any suggestions?Exactly what cable are we talking about here guys?Originally posted by Donmathew View PostSame here. A bit of paint has been scraped off due to the cable.
Is it the steel braided brake line of the front disk?
I've had the thud sound from the beginning and would also like to get rid of that annoying sound.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
It is not a brake cable. I am talking about the other one. Black color big cable which is electrical cable.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostExactly what cable are we talking about here guys?

But there may be a chance both the cable might be doing this job.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I once had the front fork fully compressed and didn't here anything at all when the bike was not moving. As soon as I start riding and go over any undulations in the road the sound magically comes back!Originally posted by 2008venkatesh View PostIt is not a brake cable. I am talking about the other one. If you find a solution do post here I'm sure a lot of members are looking to solve this issue.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Dear Fellow RS200 owners.
Has any one upgraded their headlights to higher wattage bulbs/LED or added extra aux lighting?? I find the stock low beam quite useless in traffic when other opposing cars have their low beams on. Difficult to see potholes/road imperfections/dogs etc. I tried adjusting the throw but it lacks the required intensity. Even the high beam is not that great, though i have to dip my lights since the opposing vehicle immediately puts their high beam which then defeats my purpose to see the road clearly.
I have read that LED bulbs with their cooling fans wont fit into the enclosure of our RS200. HIDs might not work efficiently since the RS200 comes with halogen projectors which have a different working then HID projectors.
Only option seems to be higher wattage bulbs or aux lights.
I would have immediately gone for higher wattage bulbs with relay but i have had an incident of battery draining by itself and causing starting problems, never found out why it drained and it has never happened since the past 3k km.
Any viable options?
Regards
