Does anybody knows here how to change time in the console meter?
I have a wrong time set on my one and I'm not able to correct it. Also I'm facing a lot vibrations on the front parts even on very low RPMs. Please suggest!

For time change, press the mode button until Trip 1 is displayed. After that, press both mode(M) and set(S) button together for 2 sec. Now press M and S button to change the hours & minutes respectively. After setting desired time, press M & S button same time again for 2 sec. Your time is set. For vibes in fairing at low rpms, visit your service center to get it sorted. No vibes for me so far.

The bike looks like a Christmas tree at night and it looks good but can't expect any batman like stealth with this bike.

If it had any more lights given the size of this bike it would be called a small town. Jokes apart I am too waiting eagerly for the delivery of the bike and apparently bajaj is out of stock for yellow paint so delay delay delay.

I got a great milage of about 35Kmpl in daily heavy traffic and expecting more after its first service.
Fairing quality is also good as it makes no rattling at all, atleast upto 6-7k rpm.

Did a 180 km run to Aliaug today and carefully observed the performance of the bike on different speeds. The max I went to was 75 km/hr. There was no vibration in the fairing and handlebar till that speed. On the other hand, felt some minor vibrations in the footpegs between 65 kmph and 70 kmph. Once the bike crossed 70 kmph, it's performance changed drastically and no vibrations were felt thereafter.

Had a taste of the ghats in between and the performance of bike is good in twisties too. The road was a dangerous single lane road, therefore I did not push the bike to the limits but the bike was firmly planted throughout the trip.

One bad thing is the seat hardness and IMO the wind shield is a bit short and does not manage wind blast as effectively as a CBR or RC200.

BTW, the road to Alibaug is infested with speedbrakers. It feels that the road contractors were told to lay out speedbrakers but due to inefficiency, they ended up with some roads in between!!

RS's performance goes smoother after 70kmph with no vibs in fairing, handlebar and foot pegs too!

Some pointers for the PDI of RS 200 for new and prospective buyers. Thanks to Shibadip for compiling the list for Pulsar 200 NS. I have copied his list and modified a bit according to RS200.

Others, please let me know if there are any more pointers to add to this list, I will edit accordingly.

1 Ensure there is no dent or scratch mark on the whole body, especially the lower parts.

2 Check the tyre thread patterns, and look for the thin green line on the centre of the tyre to ensure that the bike has not been used as test bikes.

3 Check that mirrors aren't very tight but bolted tight

4 Do look for abnormal gaps between the seat and the panels.

5 Check the coolant level and Ask for topped up coolant

6 Check the Brake oil level for Both front and rear brakes

7 Ensure vehicle can be locked properly, and smoothly. Note that the bike can be locked only on left side.

8 Ensure all the engine kill, light switches & brake lights are working. Check atleast 2-3 times.

9 Check for rusts anywhere on the metal parts (Frame, forks, brake pedal)

10 Make sure you have more than adequate fuel

11 Check for first aid kit.

12 Start the engine (Dont rev hard all through). Rev a little and check if its is smooth and the RPM metre in the instrument panel matches with the revving.

13 Check if the instrumentation is working as per the buttons

                        14 Check for abnormal vibrations.

15 Ensure the chain is lubed well

16 Check the chain slack is within normal range.

17 Check for tool kit & number of pieces. Current owners please confirm it.

                        18 Invoice copy

                        19 Insurance copy

                        20 Pollution under control sticker

21 Ensure that RC book & tax token will be delivered in specific number of days.

22 You can also get 2 annual teflon coatings by paying about Rs 1.5 k. See if you can get that complementary.

23 Check if Octroi charges are added in the bill. Ideally, they are not charged to customer and paid by the dealer.

Sir, may I know your source for this information? And so please provide a link or image.
And if it is correct does it not mean that the AS 200 is a mere 2 kilos heavier than the NS?. The official kerb weight for the NS 200 is still listed as 145 kilos. Please clarify.http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/images/smilies/confused.png

Can you confirm this in some way? There's no proof of it other than only you saying it. Even the Bajaj website says that NS is 145kgs. Is the info on Bajaj's website outdated/incorrect?

PS: Can someone, who is recently purchased an NS, check their motorcycle manual/booklet and see what the weight is mentioned there. Whatever is in there shall be the correct figure.

This was shared to everyone on the AS first ride event and the mention is there in almost all the ride reviews posted by various publication and bloggers. xBhp first ride will also mostly mention it. My guess is that website will be updated sooner or later
