Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Thanks for these valuable tips buddy! I hope we get our bikes soonOriginally posted by Dragonprince View PostI asked again, the lady has said that any colour other than the stock colours offered by bajaj cant be done by them and it voids warranty.Same goes for installation of gps which you have to connect with the ignition wire.Usually the gps is placed inside the bike ,near the ignition wires and battery . To swap between red and yellow colours of the rs she said it will cost anything between 8k-12k rupees. She seemed to be quite certain on this matter and as usual my bike has not been given its number and will probably happen tomorrow (tomorrow never comes

If you have bought it from mumbai andheri showroom ,all i can say is Best of luck and may god have mercy on you
. As for the rs details i would suggest you read this owner ship blog as it is very informative and rachit sharma has answered all questions regarding the bike and for safety gear here is the link
A few important tips are
1.Check the bike for vibrations at different gears in the handle and fairing and also check for scratches in the panels
2.The front wheel should be stable and not move to the right or left(some1 on this forum had some wheel balancing issue)
3.The bike tires should have the green line in them(which somehow proves they were not ridden and the bike tires are in new condition)
4.Follow the Engine running in instructions for the bike for good performance and mileage.
5.Buy safety gear (good jacket and jeans) start with jacket as i think its most important(i had a accident and mostly my arm area got hurt)
6.Also if you want a good number (vehicle registration number like 1 or something fancy you have to tell the dealer in advance and you may have to pay upto 25k for the special number)(not worth it but you know just incase @_@)
7.Do not pay the money before you get the bike ,If you do you will be like me stuck and the dealer will keep making you wait forever for the bike.(currently at 2 months and still havent got my bike)
I cant think of anything else but as i said above my suggestion is just read this blog again (Rs ownership club XBHP)
Two tires feel better than four. Period.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
2 months waiting time?😢 yesterday i called a bajaj dealer nearby ,the sales representative told me that the maximum waiting time is 45 days!! Im from kerala. Does the states really matter in case of waiting time or is it that they tried to cheat me with the date?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Took the delivery of the RS 200 yesterday, Initial impressions are, Its quiet heavy in slow speed and almost has the rigid handle of old pulsars, clutch and break lever are ridiculously large and pain in in the butt to press and release(good work out for fore arm), handle bars are wide like cruiser which is good, but for unknown reason had pain inside the elbow region and suspiciously no wrist pain( may be need to change my sitting position). It sounds awesome better than KTM, But Its is not as bassy as I expected it to be and it still sounds like a lawn mover and last but not the least Its worth each penny I have spent acquiring it.
Why its value for money??? Because it has almost all the gadgets and some more, then its absolute rival KTM rc200 and it saves you 40k to buy any thing you want.
The good bits of this motorcycle are the amount of real estate this bike offers is mind boggling, I mean its huge like very huge and it is good as you get nice and comfy seat which has plenty of room to move around and seating is fun as you literally gel into the motorcycle and it completely snugs you in.
Well that's all for now, need to ride more to write more..

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I guess the states do matter, because the waiting period in Bangalore is said to be around 3 weeks according to the news. I myself had called up a lot of dealerships in Mumbai and nearby and all of them gave me different dates. Some said it would take 45 days while some of them claimed the waiting to be almost 3 months! So I just went with a dealer who gave me a 2 month waiting period, though I have no reasons to trust himOriginally posted by akhilpv View Post2 months waiting time?😢 yesterday i called a bajaj dealer nearby ,the sales representative told me that the maximum waiting time is 45 days!! I think the demand is higher than the production. Bajaj needs to produce them quick!

Hey Ashish thanks, I got it after 2 months of wait, Because I wanted a non abs yellow rs200 and right now the waiting period stands at 1 month or 45 days.
The demand of yellow rs is low in my city and rs red abs and non abs are selling like hot cakes.
Just to give you an idea there are 40 bookings for red rs both versions and only 10 booking for yellow rs and surprisingly there where bookings for 2 black and 1 blue rs200.
If you want to an rs200 as early as possible and color don't matter then check with the dealer which color has the highest number of bookings as that would probably be the one they will try to procure first and also will try keep in stock as that color have high demand. They will not think of you if you are in the list of few people who like exclusivity and choose yellow claw rs200.
After I booked my motorcycle, there where total number of 4 lots which I know of arrived at the showroom and all of them where red rs200.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I finally booked my RS200 in red today at Bagga Link in Delhi. Quite excited but last time I went and inquired (around 2-3 weeks back) about the bike they told me there was a waiting period of 20-25 days. And today I was told the waiting period has gone up to 2-2.5 months.
I hope the fruit's sweetness is worthy of its wait.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Well, I guess I'll have to wait quite a bit as I have ordered the Non-ABS Yellow model. Though 2 months should be more than enough, as hopefully the production will speed up. I got a quote of 1.33 lakhs on-road with some free goodies like grips, buzzer, bike cover. A bike like this one is definitely worth the wait!Originally posted by amarme001 View PostHey Ashish thanks, I got it after 2 months of wait, Because I wanted a non abs yellow rs200 and right now the waiting period stands at 1 month or 45 days.

I'm shocked to hear that too, as I and many of us would have gone for the black instead of yellow or red.Originally posted by fundoozzz View PostBlack and blue color for RS?? They are taking bookings for something that is not even launched??
