Rode it at noida free roads ,kind of like highway ,actually much better than highway.Originally posted by anarchy911 View PostHas anyone taken the bike out on highway? How is its performance out there? How does the fairing hold up? And how is the wind blast?

Upto 100km/hr, I would say RS felt boring than NS.
after 120kmph,it was pretty good. About 30% more stable than NS.didn't went above that and rode at those speeds FOR like 30sec.don't tell this to the owner. .!!!(happens to be friend of my big brother)

At 100 or 130, how were the vibrations and wind blast? And why boring than NS?Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostRode it at noida free roads ,kind of like highway ,actually much better than highway.

Vibes are there but pretty manageable. The bike is a joy riding in a straight line.
Sent from my phone. Kindly avoid it while riding.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Plastics are better. Build quality is maintained at NS' level as a minimum. Some places it exceeds it too.Originally posted by anarchy911 View PostCompared to say, P180, how are the vibes? And the finish of fairing? Any rattling?

Since the bike was new and with under 300 km, rattles were zilch from them plastics. No bothersome vibes till 7.2k. That's where I let go since it was still being run in (moto man style, not recommended).

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Got my RS (yellow, non abs) yesterday from Bhopal and had an opportunity to ride it back home to sagar for 170 Kms.
My short experience
Pros :-
Looks are killer as per my opinion and it looks huge, It definitely grabs eye balls and in my ride, I have easily got over 100 ppl getting a second look at the bike.
Exhaust sound is good enough and it gets better as you gear up to the top.
Handling is just too good, you never seem to loose control over the bike even at high speeds, all the feeling of a huge bike goes off once you get over the driving seat. I am truly amazed how easily I am able to manoeuvre this bike through the potholes.
Suspension is good enough to take on the bumps.
Twin projector head lights are an absolute winner illuminating up the entire pitch dark road with an intensity as such that even the buses and trucks were asking for dipper.
Mileage :- Won't be able to predict the absolute figure as of now, but it definitely gave over 40 kmpl on highway.
Cons :-
Seats are hard as of now and you will feel the need of more cushioning as you ride for a stretch of 50kms or more.
I don't know if this happens on all sports bike but you feel the vibrations on the handlebar, and as you ride on for longer period, your hands will start to get numb (literally). So you are better off carrying your riding gloves along.
This is all for now, feel free to ask me if you wanna know abt anything else though I m not an experienced rider.
P.S. :- Can anyone confirm who already got the bike that this bike doesn't come along with the main stand, coz mine didn't came with one (noticed it after I came home, coz we got delivery at 6pm and we were in a rush to drive back 170 kms.)
They also charged me Rs 415 for the side stand which leaves me in a doubt that they wrongly charged this amount from me as it didn't came even with the main stand.Last edited by fundoozzz; 05-06-2015, 12:48 AM.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Have booked the red Rs200 on 19th of April. Dealer had told me right away at the time of booking that it will take 30-45 for bike to arrive. No word as of now.
Joined this forum just for this thread. Hoping to have some great conversations and improve my knowledge!

The bike does not come with main stand but no amount was charged for the side stand. I think this was a cheap gimmic by your dealer.
Regarding vibrations, I have not faced any vibrations in the handlebar so far. But then, I am still in run-in phase and therefore have not yet driven past 60. I also have a Karizma R 2005 model and could say that overall level of vibrations is definately much lesser than Karizma.Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...
