Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
The Headlight does not work without the engine being on. The only things that work on battery are horns, pass switch, brake lights and off-course the starterOriginally posted by lnagr View Poston my NS Brake light works on ignition on. as bike has DC electricals, i beleive Headlight and all stuff will work too.
Even the parking lamps do not work just on battery which is a surprise!Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

oh no these motorbeam videos. They are so unrealistic. All their reviews and drag races. The video starts and the people reviewing and doing the tests are in a hurry to complete the video. You can see too many different things in their videos. They use very enthusiastic and professional riders for all videos that they forget that people do not do knee down cornering or a rolling stoppie on commuter bikes like common 100cc - 150ccs too. They should know that people tend to confuse themselves on seeing such kind of riding and doubt themselves before buying the bike. You can very well see all those rants in the comments following every video of theirs.
This one is evident that rs200 will win. This drag race is totally not required at all. And like every other drag races they do, this one is exaggerated too.

fuel injector Bikes don't have that!
Fuel injected bikes do have kick start. ex RE Classic 500 and CGT 535.
Its just that bajaj didnt provide it as it would look out of place on the RS.

In a Fi engine the battery has to work.. also cold starting is not an issue in Fi engines..
.. Kick starter would be Iike "appendix" on a motorcycle with Fi engine. i.e vestigialLast edited by payeng; 06-08-2015, 11:07 PM.

But I don't think there is really a need of kickstart in fi-bikes?[emoji52] [emoji26]Originally posted by WDM2 View PostHi

Its close to 6 years now I am riding around bikes without a kickstarter, haven't run into any issues
Of course, lil pro active maintenance of the battery would help, that said I havn't had a failed battery too in the last 6 year on 2 of my bikes! May be I was just lucky

These new gen bikes don't need kickstart actually.[emoji52]
And the real matter goes how you treat your bike i.e., if you put a lot of load on the battery then chances are there that your Battery might get into trouble latter.
But on the other hand if you just have timely maintenance with avoiding those burdens on battery then surely your battery will last for years.[emoji5]
