Indeed ! Prefer Good Riding Gears. I read somewhere, If you are investing X amount of money on your bike then invest 10-20% of it for your gears !

    I am using :

    Helmet : SOL Unicorn II
    Jacket : Rynox Air GT
Gloves : Probiker , need to replace them. Looking forward to DSG and Cramster. Please suggest if anyone of you have used any of these or any other brand gloves, I am looking for nice , comfortable touring gloves !
    Knee Guards : Scoyco K07

Seems like that dealer has better knowledge than my mechanic Mine is 1 year old.. I have vibration issues in fairing.. vibration in footpegs gone after 2k km.. So new one should be better than this without doubt..

i had also experienced this when i had Pulsar 220, i parked my bike near a watchman after that day. In my case someone scratched the fuel tank and also peeled off the pulsar logo. You can try to park somewhere else is all i can say as i don't know the situation where you park.
Give your details help a biker stranded in your city.

I bought my RS 200- Non ABS just 20 days back (My third Pulsar Variant), I can feel there is no Fairing noise until today. Engine vibes are still extended to my feet very often in city drive but tolerable. Bought this from Khivraj- Indiranagar Banaglore, quite happy with the deal, they never ignorant towards my selection of non abs version.

One bad side is still i can feel Hard knocking gears on my ankle, Hope that will go off after First service. I am thankful to this forum experts as advised me right and i am now the true owner of this beast. Minor glitches are always there in all models, i never heard a brand has been launched and reviewed with no negative symptoms, hence i would recommend this to all as this is TRUE INDIAN VALUE FOR MONEY PACKAGE.

Need one help if forum guys can share some pics of the place where the Indicator Buzzer is fitted would of great help, i want to do it my shelf, but unable to identify, Incase any one knows the exact location please share a pic here please, the local mechanics are unable to locate the buzzer location yet, afraid if they spoil the wearing.

Nothing works without starting the bike. Even the LCD display light doesn't work which makes it really hard to read the display without starting the engine first. Which is kind of pointless.

Unless you press the pass switch, then the headlights work for as long as you press that button. This is not a very convenient method if you want the lights ON without starting the engine in some emergency.

Why does Bajaj do this to the RS 200? The other Pulsars seem to have this feature, and so do the Duke/RC bikes.
I own a NS, and in that also only High beam can be turned using Pass switch without turning on the bike. For the LCD display, put on the dipper switch in high beam. Put the Light switch in ON. Then press the pass button, the display lits up without the necessity of turning on the Engine. This is the case with NS. I don't know if it works with RS though.

If dipper switch is in Low beam, then the display won't light up while using Pass switch

I have not tried that but since my bike has gone for repairs I can't do it any time soon.

Maybe someone else can check this and inform us whether it works or not?

                  Thanks!

Try loosening the screws it should stop the cracks from spreading any further. The windshield does vibrate and if you loosen the screws too much there'll be a very annoying buzzing sound which will come from it.

About the vibes on the pegs, get them tightened (the bolts on the pegs). Tell them to check the chain slack, and also tighten the exhaust bolts (there are a few bolts on the silencer which tend to get loose over time). Hopefully that'll solve your issue's.

                        Cheers mate!

                        Thank you for the help.

Took the bike for 2nd service and they are ready to replace the windshield but was out of stock on that particular day. Also, told them about the foot pegs vibration(creeps in while downshifting of gears and braking) but none of the mechanics (including the KTM one) knows the exact reason for this. I asked them to tighten the foot pegs but they said that they cant be tightened as they have clips in them instead of screws. Also they denied to tighten the exhaust bolts. Now only god knows how this vibration problem will be solved.

I want to know that in the 2nd service they changed the oil and oil filter and adjusted the chain slackness but after the service the foot pegs are vibrating a lot even at lower speeds and gearbox got hard and engine is heating too much even while riding in very less traffic. The bike was super smooth before the service don't know why it is happening.
Does this bike behaves like this on oil change or it has any other problem?

Oil used is stock Bajaj one and reading on odo is 2290. Guys please help me on this.
