Get well soon brother, you have avoided a very dangerous life threatening situation here. Even I had a crash a while back where an auto rickshaw in front blind-braked to avoid a speed braker. I applied the rear brake a bit too hard and the bike slipped. It would still be ok but then I encountered the same speed braker that auto guy was trying to avoid.

The combination of rear slippage and speedbraker resulted in me taking a nice fall. Luckily, I was not speeding and therefore there was no damage to bike and me. I was also wearing my protective gears (Jacket and gloves).

This accident was an eye opener for me and now I am restricting myself to 6k rpm in city limits. Better to ride sane and live longer!

As a bonus, mileage increased from 31-32 kmpl to ~36-37 kmpl!
Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

Scary!!! Just scary!!! You've got an angel riding with you dude. Great you were wearing a helmet. Awesome, you survived. Just take all the rest possible. Fix yourself. The bike can wait for another day. You'll have a lot more rides in the future. Screw the guy who put you in this position in the first place. Get a lawyer and put all the charges in the book on him. Remember, you didn't deserve this. This was his fault, make him pay. Take care

Guys what will be good alternative horn for rs 200 ? Does duel horn will be better? Will duel horn damage the electric and increase the load on battery?? Or I can install it with relay?

I am planning of changing the stock horn,as its low in decibels and sound pathetic.

Install Bosch dual tone horn - it's weather proof, I've tested it in Chennai flood. Trucks can hear it. It's better to install a relay to be safe. Costs ₹80-200 for relay, ₹550-750 for the horn.

Get a paddock stand and bike cover and ask a friend or family to start the bike once a week , let it idle for a couple of minutes.

Its the basic thing... But after 5 months do change the engine oil, check your battery also check your tyres if its hardened ,etc.

Do I need to empty the petrol tank?

Also, somewhere I have read to disconnect the battery wires. Is it necessary?

                          Not joking
Last Monday morning on the way to college, an overspeeding honda jazz come from opposite direction overtaking other bike, came into my lane crashed on me HEAD ON.
                          I was doing 55-60kmph

My 1 year 7 months Love my RS200 is completed damaged, i didnt see the aftermath,I can't.

Everyone who saw said that the bike can only be thrown away total loss.
                          Can't repair.😥😥😥

I lost my consciousness at the spot, came from I.C.U. yesterday afternoon, right wrist fracture and pelvic fracture.

RS200 is a safebike, bike took the crash saved me,

My helmet was ZEUS (costs 4800), without that helmet I couldn't have survived, after the crash i was thrown some 20 feet on air and crashed on to the road,
Thus the fracture but not even a scratch on my HEAD.

                          SAFE RIDE GUYS..
                          CHEERS..

This question might be silly but I didn't find the right answer so thought of asking here.

Question 1 : If RS200 has a single channel ABS for the front wheels, Why there is an ABS rings in the rear wheel?? Is it for some purpose?? for what??

Question 2: Can this single channel be upgraded to a dual Channel ABS on RS200???

                            Thanks in advance

My health is getting better, belt and traction has been removed.

Am only afraid about my bike, if parents are planning to sell.

This has been answered a thousand times here and everywhere else.

                                1. The rings on the rear wheel are used to calculate its speed, so when the front brake is in effect, the bike doesn't end up doing a stoppie. It's there so the rear wheel doesn't hop and leave the ground which would be dangerous.

                                2. Not possible. If you have a lot of money burning a hole in your pocket then you can try to do it. I don't think it's worth it. Anyway single channel is better than no ABS at all *cough* Duke/RC 200 *cough* so just be thankful for what we have.

                                Hope that helps.
