Remove it by just pulling it slowly and clean glue marks with petrol.

How long has Bajaj been in the performance segment? A decade? or is it Two? The others have been in that segment for much much much longer. So, the simple fact that this bike actually competes with the rest in terms of tech and refinement is something that deserves a round of applause. Different manufacturers have different design languages. KTM has radical design where as Ducati has a certain class to it. But different people like different things, and the same applies to preferences. If there were only classy bike, what would the people who like radical ones do?
Making the Gixxer competitive against the RS isn't just about "cc". It will need a few more changes like liquid cooling and maybe even a stiffer chassis. But compering two machines of different classes and then saying that one would have the beat the other had it been for a bigger engine is just so plain wrong. One more factor that is supporting Bajaj is KTM. Their influence in engine design is quite a thing. Especially the smaller capacity category. Suzuki has absolute zero presence in the small learners bike segment and that is no small obstacle to cross. Frankly, all but Kwai had forgotten their roots in the smaller capacity segment until a few years back.

I know Bajaj take some cues from Ducati from time to time, but comparing the two in terms of looks is a crime. Ducati's are like the bikini models of bike world. They spent millions if not more just to get the looks right.

P.S I really love the RS and a small part of me gets jealous when ever I see one. But that feeling fades away the moment I see the tail section. 😅

At the end of the day it's all about "to each their own".

KTM helped Bajaj survive in Indian market, Bajaj saved KTM from bankruptcy [emoji6] [emoji106] hehehe...

Now the even interesting and thrilling story is TVS-BMW combo BMW G310r, (my beauty[emoji7] ).... Things are getting pretty hot.... Hope Bajaj launches cs400 well ahead of BMW.... But after all, we know many will run after the shining badge and i ll be one among them [emoji6]

I love how new and significantly smaller manufacturers like KTM and BMW are entering into agreements with local manufacturers and releasing exciting products when the establish Big names are waiting it out.

Basically, things couldn't be any better for us. 😀 By the way a friend of mine is looking at a new bike and he asked me last night to recommend one. I only had one bike to recommend to him. Guess which one it is!!!!!

Right now i can't think anything other than G310r... You can call me a blind head... But that BMW engine and the logo has stolen and I'm ready to open my wallet [emoji7] [emoji14]

You shall recommend the same for your pal... Expected launch is third quarter...

              Sorry for going off topic....

You got me wrong brother. I recommended the RS200. That's why i post this here.
This is a gem of a bike and the fact that Bajaj made it just makes me so proud. But yeah, the BMW would have been my bike had it been available a month back.

RS is a wonderful bike if style/looks is not in top of your friends list. Because we know many buy for looks (For eg R15). For a rider, this is secondary... Primary is performance and reliability...
Happy riding.... By the way black color RS looks excellent....

Don't compare KTM to BMW, BMW is one of the top brands in the world since a very long time, they used to make planes while KTM is one of the newer company that Bajaj rescued.

While I agree that BMW is older than KTM don't look down on KTM and don't imply that financial bankruptcy can be related to technical incompetence in all cases.

BMW too once was in trouble in the 2 wheeler market a long time back. Plus, the G310R is a small bike and having experience making monsters like the the S1000RR doesn't mean they can nail a small bike so easily. BMW making a small bike is just as big a challenge as KTM had when they made the RC8 originally. Plus, the Super Duke is a rather well regarded bike.

Lastly, any manufacturer who can make a bike that can win the Dakar Rally is a force to be reckoned with.

What a company used to make isn't of much relevance. Ducati used to make radios, they are now hands down the most successful WSBK manufacturer. But all this is OT and I apologise for that.

Get a 3M coating for that area where the sticker is peeling off. And do it before it peels off a lot, in which case the 3M coating won't be of much help to save the looks.

One Quick Question regarding engine oil. Have completed 5500 KM and 2nd service is done. so far have changed engine oil (Bajaj 20W 50) for trice. 1st at 500 kms during 1st service, 2nd at 2500 km and 3rd at 4500 kms during second service. Now my question, why does color of engine oil changes to dark (black) so quickly with in 1000 km and i could feel the roughness in engine performance now. is there a problem with my engine or it the normal behavior. (whenever i change the oil, engine is so smooth and there is no problem in shifting gear).

Ideally, as per recommendation, engine oil should be changed only after completing 5000 km. but for me, its seems to be a problem. Have any one of you completed 5000 KM without changing engine oil ? and what is the color of it?

PS: I understand many guys are advising for Motual 7100 20W 50 after completing 8000 KM, i am waiting to complete 8K KM to try it)

It is what written in the book. Practically its impossible. Mineral oils start to degrade after 1000-1500 kms.
