It cranks but the starter motor gives up like.. I have a video , will upload it when I get home.

Basically cranks a little , bike engine doesn't really start combustion , (I still have button pressed) , I can hear injectors initializing and it cranks again and it fails, goes into a loop, this error code is shown , time resets and it's the whole thing all over again .

I wait a few minutes and crank , it starts

Even I am facing this same issue, though I did not get the same code. Plz PM your mobile no. so I can send the same video to my service manager from the ASC , before he hooked the BOSCH diag tool to ecu, but that time no error code was showing, hence he dismissed it.

my vehicle problem is different as compared to yours, in yours the ecu detected fault since the engine light came on, visit svc and check the diagnostics again, itll show you the error code.

One to two mins is a good idle thumb rule. If your engine is hasn't started for more than two days, allowing the engine to idle for one to two mins, is a good idea before starting to ride the motorcycle.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

          THE END

I wish to buy a RS 200 and worried about all the issues I read here. Should I not buy it? I heard BS4 has less issues tho

2 mins is ideal. For cold mornings it all depends on the engine sound. With experience you'll understand how it sounds when cold vs warmed up. After warming up don't go crazy on the throttle though.

As a general rule I warm up the engine for at least 3 minutes in hot weather, and 5 minutes in cold weather. A good way to know if the engine is warm is to give a small blip of throttle and if the revs come back down smoothly, it's warm and ready to go, if it revs down slowly then it's still cold, give it a minute. Cheers.

                      Hi Team ,

                      I own a 2015 Pulsar RS200 , i can't turn on pilot lamp or console without starting engine .
i believe this can be fixed by doing a short circuit on relay .

we already have the steps for NS200 ( link below ) .

but not able to find this relay on my RS200

please help doing this , as i want to keeps the pilot lights on when i park my Rs200 during night ( when i stop for a break during highway rides ) .
