I doubt it will hit that far, since i found only the LHS of the wheel rim with some spots of chain lube stuck. But, yeah, will keep a watchful eye.Originally posted by UnsettledNose73 View PostMake sure you don't have even the slightest of lube on your disk brake rotors. I'v had it happen. Almost got hit by a car because brakes failed.R15S - Current

Anyone with service experience? Bike behavior changes after servicing. Also what is the cost structure for servicing. Also - can someone let me know the annual insurance for the bike. How much does it cost?

Went for a small drive on the highway 300kms in total. Still I have not crossed 5k rpm. Max speed I have touched was 108 kmph in 6th gear at 5k with pillion. Except the wind blast, there is nothing to complain.
There is a small vibration in 6th gear and negligible.
Brakes are not very good in-spite of dual front brakes. Need to purchase better bakes pads later
Feels planted at high speed.
Getting an average fuel efficiency of around 20 kmph
While coming back, there was a heavy rain. Still drove it in rain without any problem and there is one drawback, the rear wheel picks all the dirt when wet and throws to the pillion's back

Have a look at this article. The guy makes a genuine argument and explains why break-in of the brakes is necessary. Maybe it will help.
Improper bedding of the pads could result in less than 30% brake performance even after a couple thousand km.Last edited by UnsettledNose73; 09-07-2015, 11:09 AM.Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.
Ride safe, Ride long.

re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Completed 750 kms. Now I have made an observation. In bumper to bumper traffic when the bike is in idle state , the engine speed varies from 1.5k to 1.7k rpm every 2 seconds. is this common ? I don't think I had this variation during the initial period of the bike or I might have not observed this. Is anyone facing the same thing ?Past & Current Bikes :

Yes I have seen that too..It does vary a bit off 1.5k and comes back to 1.5k. I noticed this after 1 hour of riding in normal roads and when stuck in B2B traffic.Originally posted by jamesrocky View PostCompleted 750 kms. Now I have made an observation. I am having hard time taking my bike out these day, Held up with s**t load of work at home, currently shifting house and making arrangements there. Have completed my 1st service at 600 kms. So far ODO at 700 kms. Hoping to complete 2.5k atleast by Jan 16 before 2nd service.R15S - Current

Yes, it happens exactly after riding in b2b traffic. I was scared for a while. Even I have to give it for the first service in a weekOriginally posted by TheArcher84 View PostYes I have seen that too..It does vary a bit off 1.5k and comes back to 1.5k. Saw this on the FB profile page of Vinayak Cars and Bikes, the official dealer for Benelli in Bangalore...nice to know that DSK-Benelli is taking up every possible measures to make sure their customers are satisfied and not repeat what happened with Hyosung. I even saw in Benelli's FB page about their new kind of service center called NMEC in Pune, which is an "The integrated Service Centre-cum-Training centre is the largest facility for Benelli Superbikes in the world" as quoted by themselves...sounds a lot of confidence in it though...Last edited by kanth; 09-09-2015, 06:54 PM.
