Did you try driving in City Traffic. What fuel you are using. I am using Shell Power. I tried filling once with Shell Un-leaded. I could feel the engine getting hotter sooner than before and could definitely feel some difference while driving.

Once my bike is back from Service, I will tank it up with Power once again.

I am using shell normal petrol and in bumper to bumper traffic I felt heat but it was not at all uncomfortable to me. In fact the heat dissipated properly than my duke 390. I can see the fan doing its job wonderfully by throwing the heat away as much as possible. I am yet to try shell v-power. Let me put shell v-power next time and see

I would prefer to stay away from v-power.

V-power is still the same petrol with additives. It's not higher octane fuel. In long run, additives might do more damage than good. You pay more, doesn't mean you get better !

If you're getting 97 octane fuel then please try.

I am having hard time finding Octane 97 here in Chennai. The bunks which were remotely closer to my house stopped selling it as there was only 1 or 2 takers a week for meagre amount. Yeah you are right. I will better stick with Shell normal petrol itself, I just used it once to see the difference. May be if the tank is completely cleansed with Normal, I should be able to see the difference.

                            Eavesdropping perhaps.

Got my 600i service done today.
4L of Motul, with the consumables and 14% VAT - Bill came upto 4100 INR. Tanked it up immediately with Shell. Brakes have improved much better and asked them to reposition the rear-brake lever a bit lower as it was hindering with the toe movement.

Couldnt click picks as I dropped the bike off at the centre and went late today to pick it. WIll post few pics tomorrow.

The chain has become a bit more greasy now. Its not like the one that came out of the factory. Is that because of the excess muck stuck on to it or excessive lube being sprayed. The lube has stuck on the rims as well. Need to wipe that off.

It was the same for me too, just that i paid 350 more for the chain clean n lube, which made my bill to 4448 INR.

The chain was well cleaned with diesel before washing and then lubed with Motul and adjusted...it looks as good as new.

Make sure you don't have even the slightest of lube on your disk brake rotors. That shit is dangerous, especially if it gets on the inside of your brake pads.

I'v had it happen. Almost got hit by a car because brakes failed.
Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.
