Its easy...I told my dad you too ride it someday . He actually tried to take on the saddle. he couldnt lift his leg past the pillion seat. I told him better luck next time.
But my wife is still pi**ed off with my purchase. She totally despises it. So, to cool her off, I booked a Dio for her and kept her mouth shut (which is the most diffcult part in life)

lol.. Last weekend, I took my wife and mom to a mall in Noida (GIP).. Triumph had displayed their bikes there and I took them to the display.. My wife instantly fell in love with the Daytona 675 Red.. My mom too was like that bike looks good.. it is easy to convince mom and wife in my case.. but then comes the man of the house.. dads are very difficult to convince.. but I do know how to convince my pop.. Just like how he fulfilled his dreams of owning a Merc, my dream is to own a SBK

The other way at my place...Dad was the easiest, he himself has a past record of importing a couple of quarter litre hondas from Thailand during the 1980's. Mom and Fiancee look at practicality of such huge bikes in India

When I got mine, I was like ' I am getting it' and stuck to it for months till there was resignation from their side, followed by acceptance and then jubilation !
So, just a few obstacles that will only make the purchase sweeter.

BTW, that number plate is like dumped garbage beside a lovely lake, IMO. If not in view of the rider is a choice then the plate could have been above the headlight or below it. Not the contraption it is now. How about you fix a huge windscreen on that bracket Wheelie control. Top Speed Limiter. And Headwind deflector !!!

Well thats easy...there are two scenarios-

                                1. You are thinking of buying it and you consult your parents...you get a kick in the butt and you dont get the machine.

                                2. You buy the beast, then tell your parents...you still get a kick in the butt BUT you get the beast home.

2nd one works all the time for me
