Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Would you give me a link of that deflector?Originally posted by Ballistic View PostGuys, anyone have any idea about a aftermarket wind screen for TNT 300, I got one on an online shop for 8999 bucks but that is a Puig aftermarket for Duke 390, thinking of screwing the same on to the stock wind deflector. Please put in your thoughts.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi Guys! Just wanted to update you all that I switched the stock exhaust on my 300 to IXIL after the 1st service and it sounds amazing. Now, I feel the stock was a muted version.
In fact, now I'm more worried about the cops stopping me for no obvious reason as the bike lost its inconspicuous nature.
Also, it reduced the weight by at least by 3-5 kilos and the performance has gone up too as I'm easily reaching 75 kmph in 5th gear at 4000 rpm when I was doing the same speed in 6th gear at 5000 rpm.
One downside to this change is the cost. The dealer charge me Rs. 23000/- for a slip on and I feel it's at least 20% higher than it should have been. Nonetheless, the heightened aural pleasure and the increase in performance make me forget the cost a bit.
P.S. The dealer charged me for engine oil, filter, lubrication and service fees for fitting the exhaust. The only free element of the 1st service was the 'service' element and I was shocked when they finished the entire job in 2 hours. Also, the bike wasn't washed to the best level as I could find some dust here and there. The concerned service guy had an excuse saying that the bike was washed using a hose instead of a 'machine' as there was some installation problem. Hope the service elsewhere in India is better.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi Guys,
I am going to book this bike in a few days and i spoke to Mark From Benelli Mumbai, he informed me that the 1st Service (Free) is done at 1000 kms the next service which is mentioned in the service schedule at 4000 kms is a checkup and not a service, and the actual 2nd service is done at 8000 kms only (Paid). The second service costs about Rs 6000 (Motul Fully Synthetic Oil 10w 50, Air filter if required, Brake Oil top up , coolant top up, oil filter etc)
can any one let me know if anyone has opted for the IXIL Exhaust in Mumbai , would like to meet in person to hear the sound, and would also like to know if there is any difference in performance. As I gaze upon your beauty, I think to myself, "never have I seen an angel fly so low".

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Would love some pictures of it. I think the price of that is perfectly alright. Slip-ons from Arrow, TBR, Yoshi (N300) cost as much as 40k, and Akra costs 85k for Duke 390.Originally posted by classic_86 View PostHi Guys! Anyway, this bike would've benefited a lot if it wasn't so porky. That and lack of ABS is making my days become tougher deciding.

classic_86, it's good to know that you have got the new mod added. Would love to hear the sound? Would you please let us know which model of ixil have to added? Some pics and video would be appreciated.
Was thinking about the proframance exhaust which Ritesh had advertised after 1600kms but would love to check the difference.
No offence, however, the ixil video on 300 on YouTube test ride in Hyd sounded like old RX100 which made me think twice.
Thank you

So,what's the speed u get @5000rpm in 6th? How it is possible without any change in gear ratio?Originally posted by classic_86 View Postthe performance has gone up too as I'm easily reaching 75 kmph in 5th gear at 4000 rpm when I was doing the same speed in 6th gear at 5000 rpm.Last edited by Harisankar; 06-21-2015, 06:27 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Agree !! That's impossible. Time taken to attain the speed will vary but not speeds at certain rpm. [emoji106]Originally posted by Harisankar View PostSo,are u able to hit 85kmph@4000 rpm in 6th? How it is possible without any change in gear ratio?

Slip-on mean Cat-con is not removed. Your exhaust system is still restricted. Unless sprocket change what ever may be the power, speed will fall on the same rpm. When you take the audio use sansa clip/clip+ or nokia 808/1020 phone. It can rival professional quality audio mic's.Originally posted by classic_86 View PostHi Guys! No. Whether the power is 1bhp or 100bhp, unless gearing ratio is changed(Sprocket) the speed will fall on the same rpm.Originally posted by abhimanyu31 View Post^^^ I think you forgot the "not" part
