Benelli 300 offers you, as per my experience, an upright comfortable sitting position to cruise. Whenever you wanna satisfy your adrenaline rush in safe environment or counter the wind blast, you can lean forward into aggressive stance as slightly rear set foot pegs accommodate this.

The handle bar is tall and wide unlike the RTR where it's low and narrow. You won't be leaning at all, the foot pegs however, as said by experimentalhead, is rear set.

And experimentalhead, do you (I literally mean "neevu", friggin' English :P) happen to know the price of oil filters for this?

During first service, oil filter was changed and the bill says 272.48

Friends,

I don't know where exactly to post this question.
Today I noticed a very small nail embedded in my rear tyre. Not sure when this happened!
Should I get it removed and plugged or should I leave it as it is and continue to ride.
This is my first experience with tubeless tyres and soft compound ones.

Get it removed, you dont want to cause more damage to the tyre as it may tear the outer shell to an extent where you will end up replacing it. Take it to any local mechanic or bike shop who does tubeless punctures..It will be a 10 min job. may charge you around 150-200 INR.

Remove it !! And then check if any air leaks are present. If yes, buy a tl repair kit n fix yourself. Outside you will pay 100 bucks for one puncture, but you will get repair kit for 200-250 bucks

How to fix? Very easy, refer youtube.

Normal puncture repair would cost you 50rs. But this procedure tends to make the hole bigger overtime.
Try to find a shop which repairs puncture with mushroom fix (don't know what exactly is the name) and this is done from the inside by removing the tyre.

Ride safe and have fun.

• Benelli TnT 300: Ownership and Experience

The Legend is Here!!

<In case you want to directly jump to description please jump 3 paras>Enter Benelli tnt 302:
Honestly speaking first time I heard of Benelli or seen a Benelli was in a name sticker that we used in front of our class work note books way back in class 7th or 8th. By this time I had actually forgotten about it with the motorcycle segment in India mostly covered with giants such as HD, Kawasaki, Ducati, Honda and next in line included Triumph, Aprilia it was tough to make a choice. Moreover under my budget it was Ninja or HD 883/ Street 750 or KTM or Bonneville. This was again the same spot where I was stuck earlier. One day while surfing through Youtube I saw a bike video which was making beautiful melody, appeared as a mid segment bike and had a beautiful finish. The video was uploaded by Power Drift and with few dialogues exchange between them I decided to give it a try.
Initially I had planned for a 600i but since Benelli was already launched in foreign market one of my friend had already tested it, according to him the bike was great no doubts went to great speeds and performance was spotless. The only reason that refrain me from buying it was the heat dissipation and the daily use scenario. In traffic especially of New Delhi which is stop and goes and can be congested most of the times it was not really the brightest idea to own such a heavy bike. This made me to move to the lighter but efficient sibling Benelli TnT 300.

Description:
I will describe the bike in the below sections. I got it a couple of days back and I had some time to ride it in Delhi-Noida and then to to my home town Dehradun. My expertise and ride experience on this bike will include these 650 Km distance which I clocked in last few days.

4. Service, Staff at Showroom and DSK Benelli as a company

Looks and Feel:Features:Ride Quality:
In city- Bike handles with ease, it is a true commuter at the RPM levels of 2000-5000, bike will take on low speeds on any gear be it the 1st or the 6th (I did 35-40 kmph on 6th gear and there was no knocking in the engine) The engine will operate between temperature range of 85-95 degree centigrade and heat will be dissipated time to time but the fan in the radiator will make sure that there is no problem to the rider. I selected the stiffer mono-shock adjustment for quicker turns and easier handling. But the wide handle bars might restrain you from taking an aggressive stance especially with the mirrors which are sticking out. You can ride it in almost under any circumstances and in any gear. Gearing is little stiff (maybe I am not use to it) but that was not such a big issue. Front disc brakes are a boon in the city gives a quick stop to the bike and they are not sloppy. This is because of superior tyre grips. Under city condition bike gives an average of 24 Km/lit (tested).
On Highway: I did a 270 Km journey from Delhi to Dehradun on my bike with a pillion rider. HIGHWAY yes the concrete jungle is the true home of this Italian. You will actually feel relaxed the engine and bike perform flawlessly over here. The engine temperature never went beyond 80 degrees this was when I was riding it constantly for 2 hours at a speed of 70-80 kmphs. The bike produces a mind-blowing sound post 6500 RPM. I covered most of the distance with RPM levels at 5000 but there were times when I got tempted and reached at 8000 RPM. Bike performs really well at this point I was on 6th

One thing is for sure they are really working hard to make Benelli a main stream bike in India. You will notice this once you visit their showrooms. Also by next year Benelli is planning for 3 new models. But for now I am more than happy with the TnT 300 and I hope you guys go out and take a test ride to see if it fits your requirement.
Thanks a lot for the review! Do keep posting updates regularly. And go easy on the engine breaking-in bro I know it's very tempting with powerful bikes like these, but patience will truly pay!
