Congratulations and welcome to the 300 family.

My bike has run 638 kms as of today evening and will be 2 weeks tomorrow. I have reached a max of 76kms/hr within 5k RPM. Wondering how you were able to touch 80?

At times I touched 80 kph and exceeded at 5k rpm because there was no wind blast/ cross winds and also in downhill kind of roads on highways

@experimetalhead Was this before the first service or after ?
Maybe my riding is not right. This is based on my riding in city and one small ride to kgf

Before First service. I followed break in as per manual. However, occasionally I gave a burst for a second or two. However, I never crossed 8K rpm till 1600 km as per manual and before 1000 km

You are riding it perfectly my friend. I touched or crossed 80 kph at or under 5k rpm only few times in conditions as mentioned in my previous post I was also touching only 75 or 76 kph most of the times

Hey thanks experimentalhead I'll click some pics in sunny bright Chennai daylight tomorrow morning
I joined Xbhp in 2009 and I have averaged 6 posts in 6 years but I'll try and post my experience once I get some kms in. Just rode for 15 kms today. I have actually been sleep deprived with all the excitement and now that I have the bike I'm too tired and sleepy to ride it.

I enjoyed reading your posts!!!

Umm... I don't think there are any diameter 50mm USD forks variant for the 300. I know the 600 has the diameter 50mm forks.

Pictures really don't do justice to this bike. You have to see it in flesh to admire it really. It is big, huge and bulky for a 300cc (atleast for a lean guy like me). I read that the CEO of QJ group accepted the fact that the bike has been 'over engineered' for the rugged and crazy biking environment of the south east asian region. Anyway..... enjoy the pictures.

Rampuri chaaku style key! Yess!

I love the neat welding on the Trellis frame. Fabulous!! Also see the pics under the seat. Nicely tucked tool kit and the Delphi FI system. When you switch on the bike sitting on it, you can hear the sound of the FI system kicking in under the seat and it just passes some subtle vibrations to your bum through the seat. Those jiggles set you up perfectly for what is about to come next!!!! Vrrrrrroooooooom!
