Where is the guard in that, it's just a laser cut logo.
Can be done at lesser than half the cost here. 6K for this?

Just went for a long ride last weekend about 920kms, bangalore to udupi and back. The bikes performed flawlessly, had to complete the break in period for some time was at 5krpm and then touched the 7k rpm easily cruising at 100-110. At ghat sections even at steep climbs could take the corners at second gear itself and overtaking need not change gears just pull the throttle and it glides. Also did a little offroading to check the suspension and it takes the bumps really good, only while going on potholes there is a sound from front, has anyone faced this pls let me know. Apart from this the beast behaves as told...

Falling in love with Italian beauty… Mind wins over Heart…

Benelli TNT 300, Tornado Naked Tre (Twin in actual), as heard the best sounding twin in world but it is much more than that.

It is end of 2013 and I am happily riding my RTR for a year and half now must say a reliable companion & trusted steed but being human, I have to ask my-self, ‘Thoda Aur’/ ‘Little more’ and the bug of upgrading motorcycle bite me really hard & the search begins. There were Dukes, Pulsars, Yamaha’s & Ninja’s of world was available in market but the term “practical” was nowhere getting fit in my mind. Had to drop the plan & converted it to a Korean beauty “My Elite i20” and happily started waiting for my “PRACTICAL MOTORCYCLE’s arrival in Indian market. It doesn’t stop here, right after 09 month of being a Cager aka Driver (Actually a tourer) finally decided to buy a saddle to accompany my Elite. In the month of August, the search for perfect motorcycle (as per my requirement) begins and it begins real hard. Below bikes were short listed

                              • Kawasaki Ninja 650
                              • Kawasaki Ninja 300
                              • Yamaha R3 (was supposed to be launch)
                              • Honda CBR 250 ABS
                              • KTM DUKEs
                              • Kawasaki Z250

Yes, nowhere TNT 300 was in mind until I read about it on some of the internet forums & website late in July 2015. And the three more got inside a list

                              • TNT 600GT
                              • TNT 600i
                              • TNT 300

                              With the list wide open in front of my eyes, I penned down my requirement & need of usage. List came as below;

                              • Riders comfort & seating posture
                              • Pillion comfort
                              • Fuel tank range
                              • Smooth engine
                              • Stable & steady at high speed
                              • Good brakes with ABS
                              • Should do 80-120 kp/h without much stress on engine
                              • Decent pick up & good amount of power
                              • Good looking but not funky or trance
                              • Tourer as well commuter
                              • Should give premium feel & eye catching design

                              Now, coming to why I dropped certain bikes;

                              • Kawasaki Z250 – Nothing excites me except the look, nowhere fitting my requirement & felt way too over priced for 250 cc inline twin with 32 bhp max power.

                              • Kawasaki Ninja 300 – Was very keen towards her, but pillion comfort & riding position was bit worry. Also at the price of over 4 Lakh felt little over priced and yes, the expensive maintenance part.

                              • Benelli TNT 600i/ TNT 600GT – Test rode it and immediately felt the raw power on the saddle. This bike is anything but a sedate ride. Felt no where a practical offer.

                              • Yamaha R3 – was not launched yet, but again comfort of rider & pillion was missing (as far as I have seen in pics). Though an obvious trusted machine with every ability to outperform competition, somehow felt little more aggressive & track oriented for me and dropped it as well.

                              • CBR 250 – Only bike fits my every requirement but it has been in the market for quite a while now and felt date and was a single cylinder in a market now flooding with twins.

                              • KTM Dukes – Can outclass anyone in terms of performance, but the performance was not the only criteria for me in selection. Why not section of DUKE will come later.

                              • Ninja 650 – A most practical sports tourer in market. Fits most requirement except the cost of ownership over long term keeping in mind my high daily mileage.
                              • Comfortable riding position.
                              • Fuel tank of 16 litre capacity which goes easily till 440 km (Mix of city & highway rides)
                              • Comfortable pillion seat.
                              • Adequate space for pillion & rider.
                              • Refined engine.
                              • Can cruise at 80-120 km/h without much stress on engine.
                              • 300 cc inline twin with 39 BHP power – more than enough for my usage.
                              • And most importantly tourer as well as commuter.
                              • Dual disc in front – ABS is sorely missing, and the only box of my requirement which remain un-tick.
                              • 120 Front & 160 rear profile (Pirelli) tyre, with 190 kg weight of bike gives good stability & road presence.
                              • Exhaust note, as sweet as it can be.

That sums up my decision making process.. Sweet & Simple...

The dimensions, some components, features, weight of this bike is kinda similar to that of a mid-weight sports bike. The 600-700 CCs. And it sort of perfectly sets you up for your next upgrade to a mid-weight street fighter.
