Exactly, bike gives that premium feel every time you sit on it.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Finally got back my bike. Here's the bill to get a fair idea of the cost of Spares.
Bike was ready last 16th, however the insurance guys delayed the payment by a week. It was a cashless arrangement and I just had to pay
Rs. 5311/- after insurance payout. Total time it took was around 3 weeks.

I had mentioned it a couple of weeks back ...
Here's the main post
Originally posted by brokenbinil View PostCompleted 1800 Kms. And I must say I am super satisfied by the bike.
Had a small incident a couple of weeks back on a Sunday at 6:00 AM. I hit an open drain in the CNR Rao Under pass near IISC in Bangalore. Before we jump to conclusions let me explain. ....
There are two 1.5 feet wide drains that run across the under pass. There are grill across the length of the drain to facilitate passage of vehicles. One of the grills was broken and i saw it in the last minute as it was out of sight as I was overtaking a bus. Hit the gap at around 70+ ... The bike held the ground and I managed to get out of the underpass. Then I realized my tires were loosing air pressure. Stopped by the side. On inspection realized both wheels took a beating. The impact was so bad that the front tire had a tear in two places on the left side of the tire. Both the front and rear wheels were bent and later in service center we realized, it is also cracked a bit due to the impact.
The RSA service was excellent. Came and picked up the bike in less than 40 mins. As it was a Sunday called and told Sunit regarding the same. THe bike was received by them at 10:30AM.
Monday I went to the service center. Realized it would be covered by Insurance. Both wheels and front tire are getting replaced along with the bearings on both wheels.
The service center guys have been very proactive on placing orders for the spares and following up with the insurance guys. All my spares have come except the tire. Expecting the same by this week.
Keeping in mind the impact I am glad that the wheel did not break like we have seen in cases of few KTMs and Pulsars recently. I was with a pillion and am glad we walked away without any damage to self.
Damage : The front tyre (had two nasty cuts one on the side wall, other on the main tread)
The rims got bent and later at service center we realized they had slight cracks at the ridges.
Bearings were replaced in warranty as a proactive measure.
The bill is quite a bit, yes, but much cheaper than i had expected.Last edited by brokenbinil; 09-23-2015, 08:40 PM.

Nice you got the bike back. 3 weeks must been painful away from the bike. How's the bike behaving?
I've done 800kms after my bike's alternator assembly was replaced. Had to keep it under 5K RPMs. Gave it away for another inspection today and all seems fine.
Got the horn replaced too. It seems the hot air from radiator has been causing the horn to fail. Let's see how it goes now.

Oops..Now thats a concern. Is that an one-off case or general with all bikes. Since I drive a 600...More heat is expected to come..does it mean..Mine will fail too soonOriginally posted by dhawz29 View PostGot the horn replaced too. Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Honestly the Sliders in the back look more like foot pegs .... the length will certainly reduce its maneuverability in tight city traffic , I would recon the conventional short rounder sliders/spoolsOriginally posted by brokenbinil View PostHorn issue I have not faced yet. But then again I do not use the horn much. ...
The bikes running fine .... DSK Benelli sliders are here. Got mine fixed. .... 4k for a set of four.

I have the same opinion. Planning to sell the two rears ones off separatelyOriginally posted by AbishekAbh View PostHonestly the Sliders in the back look more like foot pegs .... the length will certainly reduce its maneuverability in tight city traffic , I would recon the conventional short rounder sliders/spools
But must say the pricing and the quality is very good ...

Well if some can afford 6L for a monster, why not make it look a like shiny and premium? Gold is not only for jewels but also for bikes [emoji2]Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostDSK Benelli TNT 600i Gold Limited Edition launched in India
