Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
It's actually scaled-down TNT 600's engine which uses 2004 R6 engine. TNT 600 is a rebadged Keeway RK6.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View PostFrom where you got this information? Can you please help me with source, seems a good news for TNT owners :P

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
For luggage it's up to you, how much stuff you carry. In my case majority are the clothes, camera, chain lube, & few tools everything stuffed in Claw & Fly tank bag which fits nicely on TNT300. Quite enough mounting options. Prior to the ride just check the mounting of your saddle & tank bag so that there won't be last minute surprises.Originally posted by kaushalpandit81 View PostHi All, I am planning book TNT 300 , this weekend. I want to how if anybody is touring for a week or eight days , how are you all managing to pack and load your stuff on bike as company does not really have good luggage case for TNT 300.

For TNT300 redlining starts at 11K rpm which Benelli recommends you should not cross in any gear. Still you get enough rpm range to play around. At high speeds though I feel little wobble but as compared to R15 you will feel more wind blast due to missing windshield. The riding stance, weight of the motorcycle is different as compared to R15 so initially you will need to get habitual to that. Also after 6-7K speed builds on rapidly so not sure in busy streets like Mumbai how you can manage to touch reline in 5/6th gear.Originally posted by chiragsthakur View PostYou are absolutely right about the satisfaction we get by riding this bike.
I dont know whats your riding style, but mine is redlining the bike in each gear (can call me mad for that). R15 is still going strong after almost 3 years (24k kms) by the same riding style. My question is whether or not Benelli engine will sustain such a riding style in the long run.
Reliability will still be a question as the motorcycle is comparatively new in the Indian market.
I've completed ~600kms after the bearing issue & the noise came again from the rear wheel, which was due to the loose paddock spool on the right side.
The long term burning issue is the horn which is a big issue while riding in the busy streets of Mumbai, waiting for DSK to come up with a good solution or else I'll change the mounting bracket to increase the distance from the exhaust pipe.Last edited by abhijitkn; 08-27-2015, 04:18 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi Abhijit ! Thanks for guidance, I am going to book TNT 300 this Saturday. I will check out the bags too. Hope we get this at showroom or do I have check these out in the local markets? One more thing ,the bike cover..... The sales person at showroom quoted me 2.5 k for Indian made bike cover. U think it's better to get this from local market?Originally posted by abhijitkn View PostFor luggage it's up to you, how much stuff you carry. Last time the cover which I saw in the showroom, I got it earlier from AH Helmets at Andheri. Search in FB you will get the address. Also check online before buying. Now a days lot of good options available within India. Check the one from Polco Dupont Tyvek. Cost Rs.775/- Company has mfg facility near Biwandi you can either buy online or collect it from Bhwandi. I have it for my car & it's works perfect, very lightweight & durable. Only issue will be size, check with them.
Also check online you will find many cheaper options.
