    A few doubts:
    1. What is the service interval?.is it every 4 thousand kma?
    2. Has anyone faced any problems or major issues with the bike?
    3. How long do the pirellis last?
    4.any heating issues in traffic?
    5. Does the engine has any strain during highway cruising at 100kmph?
    6.what is the fuel efficiency?
    7. What is the service cost? (Basic oil and filter change)
Please go through this thread. Everything you need is answered and probably you will get more information than you need.

    Happy Riding

From what I have heard, it is best avoided on WHITE bikes. As the PPF tends to fade and give a yellowish look to white bike. Also they don't put PPF for whole bike, specially if bends / curves are more finishing won't come well.

Probably first hand review would be great from those who have got it done.

It cost me around 4-5K, but worth it. As I didn't want to install the tank pads, as it's work like a magnet for prying eyes & people have tendency to vandalize it.
I have tank pad on Fz, once somebody tried to remove it & in the process tore it.
I've been using PPF on my car bumpers & it has saved the paint from nasty scratches. I'm satisfied with it.
I applied on the tank as I have Tank Bag with straps & straps can scratch the tank over the period of time. Later on you can remove or replace without damaging the original color.

The one which are available from other companies have tendency to turn yellow/brown.
I've seen the cars (white/light color) entirely wrapped in 3M PPF & you can not notice it unless you feel the edge of the film. But the choice of form over function is individual's.
The person needs to be skilled while applying PPF over the curves. TNT300's tank was wrapped 90% in single film. Wherever it was difficult to reach they had to cut it & apply separate film. The edges are visible but only from close distance. Later I heard TNT600i's tank was also wrapped with PPF.

4K - 5k is worth investment for 3.5 Lakh bike if it can save it from scratches for 4-5 years or more. I will def. go for it over Tank Pad... or may be both :P

2 things..Check for the grooves wearing out. Keep the tyre pressure correct to enhance its durability. IMO, 15-17k kms any good tyres should last.

So I'm finally able to ride my bike again after 1 frustrating month. Got it yesterday. Could've been sooner.
                        1. I took the bike to the service station 5 days after it broke down.
                        2. They shipped a wrong part and things got delayed by 1 more week.

The problem was with the alternator and DSK Benelli has replaced the full assembly. The work was done by their south India region service head. I think he is based in Bangalore and came to Chennai a couple of times to fix my bike. They have tested the bike for around 100 kms. I rode another 75 kms yesterday and today and no problems so far.

They said I have to ride under 5K rpm for another 600 kms for the new parts to settle in. So back to square one again. After this another inspection will be done.

Very unfortunate and frustrating. I just hope there are no more issues.

                        Cheers!

Completed 1800 Kms. And I must say I am super satisfied by the bike.

Had a small incident a couple of weeks back on a Sunday at 6:00 AM. I hit an open drain in the CNR Rao Under pass near IISC in Bangalore. Before we jump to conclusions let me explain. ....

There are two 1.5 feet wide drains that run across the under pass. There are grill across the length of the drain to facilitate passage of vehicles. One of the grills was broken and i saw it in the last minute as it was out of sight as I was overtaking a bus. Hit the gap at around 70+ ... The bike held the ground and I managed to get out of the underpass. Then I realized my tires were loosing air pressure. Stopped by the side. On inspection realized both wheels took a beating. The impact was so bad that the front tire had a tear in two places on the left side of the tire. Both the front and rear wheels were bent and later in service center we realized, it is also cracked a bit due to the impact.

The RSA service was excellent. Came and picked up the bike in less than 40 mins. As it was a Sunday called and told Sunit regarding the same. THe bike was received by them at 10:30AM.

Monday I went to the service center. Realized it would be covered by Insurance. Both wheels and front tire are getting replaced along with the bearings on both wheels.

The service center guys have been very proactive on placing orders for the spares and following up with the insurance guys. All my spares have come except the tire. Expecting the same by this week.

Keeping in mind the impact I am glad that the wheel did not break like we have seen in cases of few KTMs and Pulsars recently. I was with a pillion and am glad we walked away without any damage to self.

                                Guys,

How's the ride quality of TNT300? I rode an Inazuma few weeks back and by far the best bike in India according to sedate ride quality was it - worst thing, that it's been discontinued now!

How does it tackles potholes on road? How refined the engine sounds? Is it really for sedate drivers or for a bit more sane D390 riders?
Na tha kuch to khuda tha, kuch na hota to khuda hota, duboya mujhko hone ne, na main hota to kya hota!
