Hey guys , have been following this ownership thread since the start and it's been very informative and helpful. As was the case with many, was researching for quite some time for a good bike for my taste, went through the many ownership threads of TB500, KTM390 & CBR250 in many forums and finally i am proud owner of a TNT 300 for a month now. Now it's my time to give in my bit of experiences so as to help others who are still following.
After purchase, had difficulty understanding the sound to gear position and still having them but slowly getting it. Got the tank covered with PPF inline with what abhijitkn has done. Next in line is the DIY for radiator guard and the rear tyre mud slinging issue for which already a guide is available..thanks to brokenbinil. As mentioned by someone, even i have a vibrational noise issues between 4.5K to 5K rpm from instrument cluster area and at times chain hitting noise when i accelerate. Will be showing it to service which is due tomorrow.

Welcome aboard! The more, the merrier! Congratulations!
Earlier you had a RTR right? I have seen your T-Logs. So how is it upgrading to TNT300 from RTR.
And can you help me with your selection process ? there were many 250cc and you chose non faired Naked 300TNT over others
Just wana know, so people can focus on few things which might go unnoticed while selecting.
Yes, I had RTR and I sold it last week itself. Coming to selection process, it was fairly simple once I rode TNT 300 for around 10-15 km on highway. when I bought RTR it was one of the quickest bike in market (mid 2012). The reason I bought RTR was "Light Weight, Acceleration & brakes". But after almoost 50k+ on RTR I realized how Important is "effortless cruising at 80-120 kp/h and comfort of pillion". You cannot ride hard everyday, there are times when you just want to cruise comfortably for miles & miles. Everyday adrenaline works only for short breakfast ride of 200 km where you just redline your bike in each gear, take corners aggressively & come back home by lunch.
I am not some one who want raw power beneath my ass. I was looking for calm & compose motorcycle who can deliver when needed & a good tourer (not in terms of power but in practical usage & comfort).
Pillion seat played major role too.
Overall, TNT is a bike I can cruise comfortably around 100-120 kp/h all day long, (with or without pillion). It gives me 400+ km/ Full tank range another aspect for touring/ refueling. Seating position is bit more comfortable than anything else in market. TNT300 ticks all the boxes of my requirement, and add to that "Exhaust note is bonus for me".
PS: for Everyday use & for touring, I felt this is best & most practical solution out there in market. you can debate on R3 or N300 but if practically seen you may have to sacrifice a point here and there mainly pillion comfort.

hey guys.. in one of the reiview video of the bike...the guys says that the gear ratio feels little short for cruising at tripple digit speeds. does the engine feel stressed while cruising at around 100kmph?

Not at all. I have done multiple rides with 5500 on Odo right now. In fact this is an ideal cruise machine barring the wind shield to curtail wind blasts. You can cruise at speeds between 90Kph - 125 Kph all day long. No stress at all.
