Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
LOL sorry i did not know. Yes these are available in Mumbai for 7.5k these are made locally and as per the showroom guys if the bike crashes the full rod wont require replacement only the round part (which can be removed like a bottle cap). Overall the rod seems and feels to be very strong and also has good finish.Originally posted by ironmarine View PostAs I gaze upon your beauty, I think to myself, "never have I seen an angel fly so low".

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi all,
Was reading this thread today onwards and read it all fully. Have a thought of buying TNT300, but only when the budget allows me to. Currently riding a FZ-S clocked 37k.
Came to know about this bike during the #ThanyouRide while the team was in Trivandrum, Kerala. Like everyone else, my eyes too were on the big bikes, when I saw TNT300 and when knew it is made in China, further interest to know subsided, but when they were about to leave, the rider in the TNT300 revved a little, then only I got it's attention.
Since then the search for about that particular bike started. Fell in love with the exhaust even though its not a dashing looking bike like Z250, but looks were not in my higher priority list since I always admired the Inazuma's ride quality even if it's not at all a great looking bike. And looks can be changed based on our taste (Of course modifications need to be legally noted and changed in RC book).
So the pursue for modifications ended in Youtube when I was looking for more and more video reviews of TNT300 for hearing that exhaust note. A Thailand based company or just a guy makes modifications to a certain level, that you will enjoy it looking.
I've provided the links on the above mentioned profile and his facebook page for photos. He's mostly into Caferacer style.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hey any news about your bike?Originally posted by dhawz29 View PostFaced problem with my bike yesterday when I went for a 40km highway ride. I was cruising between 100-115. On the way back I suddenly started hearing a strange sound. Like that of an auto with silencer removed. Not very loud... Subtle but definitely audible. It has changed the way my bike is sounding. I got suspicious and stopped and started checking for any loose parts but couldn't find anything at all. Checked the exhaust also but couldn't find anything with naked eye. Hopped on and started riding and every time I opened the throttle the sound could be heard. The bike also started to feel a like sluggish.
I slowed down to 60-70 and was 2 kms away from home. The oil indicator lamp turned on red. The manual says stop riding immediately when you see this. I stopped the bike and waited for it to cool a little and then started again. The sound was still there and the oil lamp indicator was also on. Didn't go away like it usually does. Rode home slowly in 2nd gear.
I had checked the engine oil level before I went for the ride and it is full. It is still full. There are no leaks..... nothing. Was on the highway and I'm pretty sure I didn't land on any stone, bump, pothole.... Strange! I do check the engine oil level every time before I start riding and the bike was only serviced on 11 July.
Called our beloved DSK Benelli and arranged for a pick up. The technician is away so they will pick up the bike on Wednesday. Not sure what they meant by "pick-up" because the bike doesn't look safe to ride now.
Let's see what unfolds.

About buying Benelli 300
Hello everyone,
On saturday I visited Benelli showrrom, Mumbai for taking a test ride of Benelli TNT300. It was the one with MRF tyres.
First thing I noticed is the Exhaust note, its a headturner, keeps our adrenaline rushing. Its too good. Now having ridden a Cbr250 and a Ninja 300, I found the power delivery to be quite linear on the benelli, even if I open the throttle, the bike starts picking up in a very linear fashion. This makes one feel that he is riding a bike which is low on horsepower. But nonetheless a very exciting bike to ride. The brakes are good, but as I was riding with MRFs, the bike feels a little unsettled on speeds excess of 80kmph. I was told pirellis makes a lot of difference. But the chassis seems to give up on not so good tyres, which I never felt on my R15v2.
Now I need your inputs on the problems(if any) faced by the owners. I dont want to end up buying a bike which is going to be equal to Bajaj in terms of reliability and refinement. (No hard feelings for any Bajaj owners).
My thought as of now on the Benelli 300 is that it has a different and unique character. Once a person sees and rides this bike, he wont think about the brand, nor the reputation or may be the mileage before buying this bike. He will go for it without any second thought.
I would do just the same, only if you guys help me in summarizing what are the ownership reviews.
Thanks. Sharing the Mumbai price list for reference

They ride the Bike from Taloja to Andheri Showroom which makes it ~41KMS and the rest for taking it for PDI to service centre. I asked Dhananjay (Showroom guy) whether at the time of delivery I can ride it from Taloja to Andheri, but he denied saying that they ride it sanely.Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostMark said they do testing on the bike for 20 kms and said other testing is dont at their work shop to check if everything is ok.

Re: About buying Benelli 300
I hope you've read through the complete thread. You'll find good, bad and ugly.Originally posted by chiragsthakur View PostHello everyone,

I summarize my reviews as mixed. I've owned the bike for 75 days and for the past 22 days it lays broken down. It broke down around 1800 kms on the odometer. My bike has an issue with the alternator.
Refinement is great but not the reliability for me. If your bike stays problem free, you'll have a blast!!
