My warranty period on the card starts from 47 Kms
Also there are a few changes being made to new bikes.
The front shock adjustment will be set to medium by default and won't work beyond few turns to make it hard and back to normal again.
The silencer cover is set up high so that it doesn't scrape while leaning to the right.
I just want to know if this guy is playing around.
No need to worry. Why I asked is because sometimes these guys for Thane customers deliver the motorcycles directly from Turbhe to Thane as they can't bring those in Mumbai else they will need to clear the octroi.
On Saturday they took the deliveries in Turbhe. I went to workshop Saturday afternoon, but no technician was present as everyone was busy with the deliveries in Turbhe.
There is a chance that your motorcycle came in the same shipment as Turbhe to Jogeshwari is approx 46 kms.
Hope you had done PDI properly.
You need not worry on the warranty part.
Get the registration done, do not ride out without proper documentation, lot of Naka Bandi on the road these days.

Yup he told me that bike came from taloja.
Other than my bike i saw rust spots kind of things on all 300 which were in thecshowroom and all of them were driven to the showroom and none of them were cleaned.
Yes i did a pdi and also took some extra fuel from another bike as fuel was low.
I would like to know just incase if the bike was riden rashly for 47kms will it affect the engine?
Since the bike has now arrrived lets connect on whatsapp and make a mumbai users group if it is alreadyvthere add me too.

Since it was ridden by guys from the dealership you need not worry. Still in case of any issue you can reach out to them.

Your concerns about how bike was ridden from warehouse to showroom are genuine. But they would always remain mere assumptions as there is no way to verify how it was ridden. So just assume that it was ridden by a sane n sensible guy who values that you have invested hard earned money. Enjoy your ride.

I'm surprised at how people find noises when riding a loud bike like this one. Because I sure as hell can't hear anything other than the engine sound on D390.

Do I need some hearing aids or is everything fine as long as we hear nothing but engine noise?

Like that of an auto with silencer removed. Not very loud... Subtle but definitely audible. It has changed the way my bike is sounding. I got suspicious and stopped and started checking for any loose parts but couldn't find anything at all. Checked the exhaust also but couldn't find anything with naked eye. Hopped on and started riding and every time I opened the throttle the sound could be heard. The bike also started to feel a like sluggish.
I slowed down to 60-70 and was 2 kms away from home. The oil indicator lamp turned on red. The manual says stop riding immediately when you see this. I stopped the bike and waited for it to cool a little and then started again. The sound was still there and the oil lamp indicator was also on. Didn't go away like it usually does. Rode home slowly in 2nd gear.
I had checked the engine oil level before I went for the ride and it is full. It is still full. There are no leaks..... nothing. Was on the highway and I'm pretty sure I didn't land on any stone, bump, pothole.... Strange! I do check the engine oil level every time before I start riding and the bike was only serviced on 11 July.
Called our beloved DSK Benelli and arranged for a pick up. The technician is away so they will pick up the bike on Wednesday. Not sure what they meant by "pick-up" because the bike doesn't look safe to ride now.
                  Let's see what unfolds.

How many days does the registration process take in Mumbai?

I got my bike on Sunday and today these guys are calling me for some signatures on 2 forms which could have been done on Sunday.
yesterday also i was called to the showroom to submit Aadhar card and 2 photos for registration but when i asked if any more formality is pending? they said no everything is done. and till now they have not even submitted the documents so today's day is wasted.

I think DSK Benelli guys at the showroom are a bunch of Amateurs who do not know what their daily processes are.

Buying this bike has been a terrible Experience, hope service will be good.

All those who feel the clutch is tight you can get it adjusted at the service center, I got mine yesterday its slightly better now.
                    Got a crash guard Installed (7.5 k).

Fortunately they didn't do that !! Had only 1km on ODO

But I am sure they have r**ed H2 before delivering it to the owner.

I blipped open the throttle just for a second and I could hear the chain tighten against the sprocket which make that small 'click' sound. I guess it due to the sudden tightening of the chain.
Yeah !! You are right !! I checked with the Service Center Guys. It is nothing to worry about. The Chain is required to have a little bit of slack.

I heard it in the dead of the night and a engine speeds lower than 3k ... Its more like a purr than a roar at that point

                        Update on 1st Service

Service Time - Got the bike in 2 hours.

Like the fact that I can sit right next to the bike while it's being serviced. The bike was handled very well. All the issues I pointed out were look into and adjusted where required.

                        1. Momentary Sound from chain - Normal - Due to the slight slack. Additionally chain adjusted while being cleaned. Was happy to see that a torque wrench was used to tighten bolts and observed that the service technician was changing the torque settings for bolts as required.

                        2. Headlight High Beam - Was going very high, even worse when with pillion. They corrected the beam and it's fine now. Also showed how to adjust the beam in case I need to at some point.

                        3. Fork Noise - Corrected - The main bolt needed to be tightened a notch.

                        4. Gear Issues - Unable to put in neutral when engine running at cold start. Clutch cable was adjusted. Now issue resolved.

Cost : Rs. 3470 / - Inclusive of 3L of Engine Oil, Oil Filter & Consumables (they lubed chain, topped up Coolant, Polished whole bike).

                        ---------------------------------

Additionally - Got 3M PPF Done - For side flanks of the tank and between fuel cap and seat. - Rs. 1800/-
Currently available only at Auto Service, Banshankri in Bangalore.
                        i don't have a carbon footprint, i ride everywhere !

Frame slider got standard with the bike.
If you are talking about the black crash guard it's available with the showroom for 7.5k
