Spoke to the showroom guy in Mumbai he said the Rim is covered under warranty, i forgot to ask about the Tyre though.
You can't claim warranty on damage from potholes. No idea about FE though, I didn't check but on next ride I'll.

Yes I keep coming back to benelli. I have booked both ninja and benelli. not finalisEd yet. I don't get to buy premium bikes often . So I'm just waiting it out.
For service intervals check few pages back. Somebody posted the scan page form the manual. It's 4000K intervals.
My personal opinion, if you've booked Ninja then go for it. It's a proven machine.
I zeroed down Z250 before Benelli was launched. Moved to Benelli because of the looks & price (finance was major constraint). Next upgrade may be from Yamaha / Kawasaki.
Lay down your priorities on a piece of paper & make a wise choice.

Showroom guy spoke to me about your case and told me that it might be done under warranty. Do you think he said it to make sure i don't cancel my booking?

There is a lot of confusion in Mumbai.
If you thrash your motorcycle in an accident will you claim manufacturer's warranty on it?
Unless it happens to your motorcycle do not ask anything to these guys, you will get confused unnecessarily.

So far I've claimed warranty on the Tire & bearings.

Hi , i am planning to buy this machine exclusively for touring purpose, by touring i mean around 1000 -1500 km both ways ride. However when i took the test ride,
i felt that the foot rest is quite at the back then the usual position which i found bit uncomfortable. Now i am confused as the backward position of foot rest is really making me think on comfort for long riding? since many guys are here are owning the bike , may be anyone can suggest me if you if the foot rest is a hurdle for a long tourer or i can live with it ?

The tyres should get changed free of cost from the tyre company through ASC. My Hyosung Bridgestone Battalax feont tyre had a bulge due to extreme off roading and it was Replaced free of cost from the ASC Bangalore after I've had put pressure. The tyre was ridden 7K KMs by that time and came to know the tyre warranty is till 10K kms from Bridgestone. Alloy bend/broken can be covered under Insurance through some references from ASC. But why the insurances are so costly for all Benellis? May be it's time for to be owners get the insurance from outside.

Nope, It is one year, but with Zero Dep. A friend bought the N300 recently. He also paid similar amounts for the Zero Dep. Insurance.
In Bangalore the Insurance amount is close to 9K Chillar for TNT 300.

I believe Zero Dep. is also given on new vehicles for only the 1st three years.

It is better to transfer ncb if you have any other bike. You can save couple of thousand rupees depending % of NCB.

Zero dep also not that costly if you get it from outside AFAIK. I used to pay 10K for GT650N which was close to 6L OTR in Bangalore.

Prices have went up I believe. ICICI quoted 21k for Z800 - zero depreciation, 9L OTR Bangalore.
