Yes it does. I went to the Chennai showroom the very next day it opened and gave my name and number for test ride. A week after or so I took the test ride. At that time the test bike had less than 500 kms on the odometer as far as I can remember. I showed no mercy on the bike like the many others who have taken test rides. Night Fury almost launched himself into space over a flyover at 11K rpm on the test bike. So I'm sure there is no proper running-in done on the test bike.

I also spoke to a couple of guys who had taken test rides 30-45 days after I did and one guy said he felt the bike was stalling (not sure what he meant exactly) and wasn't revving smoothly. Anyway, I had a great ride on the test bike and it was fun. It was my first ride on a 300 and I can never forget the thrill ever. But right now my own bike feels much better after 1st service in comparison.

yes, it was on the cards but no test ride for ninja kept me off of it. but i happened to ride my friends ninja and it was not sporty at all, very comfortable, ninja and tnt300 both ticked all the right boxes for me, except that benelli was better in pillion comfort.

so i thought i could ride a (little) sport bike for a couple of years or so and when i am old enough i can shift to a more relaxed riding bikes

but i still love the tnt300 exhaust note, that keeps me coming back to benelli. im quite a confused person aint i ... lol

Exact same thought made me go the KTM way. However I also thought it'd help me in not becoming overwhelmed by higher capacity bikes in the future.

Congrats on the Ninja though, you can really tell the engineering difference between Europe and Japan (automotive).

It really is between Kawasaki and benelli right now.. ninja300 vs benelli 300 & the ninja 650 vs TNT 600i..
one has all the practicality and reliability vs the others mad exhaust and thrill.. all comes down to what you go with ie your heart with the benelli or your head with the ninja.. the confusion stays on..

Sorry for jumping in between, from a silent follower of this thread, first time hearing that going with your head means ninja. Haahaa. 😀
I'll continue to stay confused further and make decision based on reviews over longer period.

Definitely, the question remains before purchase decision: tnt300 vs z250/ninja300.
One of the key aspect that i would look is the riding position and comfort to the pillion. In this case, tnt scores a point. Plus no doubt, tnt's engine is showing no stress on a long ride.

Btw, went to bajaj probiking to get some details on z250. Again, benelli scores a point in terms of professionalism and knowledge that the showroom representative has. Probiking guy was just giving very generic answers to my questions on comparisons, after sales, performance, etc. and refused to give test ride for Z250. They said that since Benelli is new in the market, they are giving test ride. In such a growing market, Bajaj/kawasaki really need to step up their game. Now, competition is increasing and there is a need to provide differentiation to customers.

Well yeah.. kwackers have a repo of good after sales and less frequent breakdowns.. longer service intervals.. all these combined brain tells me to get a ninja 650.. but as soon as I hear that sweet exhaust.. every technicality is forgotten and heart just says.. duudeeee.. this is the one..

Are you serious! Who would buy a bike or anything worth a few lakhs without even a test?? Honestly if people have done this in the past then this is nothing but handing it on a platter for the dealers, coz then they don't need to invest in a demo bike & also put a cost of maintaining it. I'd honestly never recommend buying anything no matter how good it is before testing.

Faced the Same issue so Dropped the Ninja. Also they were hardly bothered to sell the Ninjas, They were concentrating on the KTM's.
But when i said i had cash and was going to book the Benelli the showroom manager offered me to give a test drive on a Bike which had come in for servicing .
