That double-check on the exhaust note was good.

By the way, where in the world did you find the space to push it past 11k, I took the test drive in damn city traffic when it was Aiya's 92nd birthday. my god, i couldnt keep the bike between my legs, it kept on running. I found an empty road near GN Chetty junction and was able to test the power of 600.

1st service is at 1000 kms so maybe next week I guess. I'll let you know my experience. The service center is in Saligramam. Haven't been there yet.
The service centre shares the space with the Hyundai showroom. I too didnt get a chance to see the service centre yet. But I guess they are operational now

Finally, took a test ride of the 300 at DSK Mumbai and I was literally drooled over the bike. The riding position was really comfortable and my pillion was also happy with the pillion seat. I'm not a hard hitter and thus, the comparisons with other bikes including Duke, RC, Z250 are not of primary consideration. All I wanted a comfortable cruising experience at 80 - 100kmph, to which TNT300 performed flawlessly. I rode for about 5- 6 kms including the traffic and open road, and was told by the showroom that a longer test ride could be arranged as well.
During the traffic signal, I did felt the heat on my thighs. I’m not sure whether this is common with other 250 – 300CCs bikes or just with TNT300?? (Any inputs) Otherwise, I’m sold to Benelli.

Just a quick question to the current owners: Are the rear view mirrors good enough? I somehow didn’t like the pointed mirrors (as compared to the oval shape) as I felt that the view was somewhat restricted.

Now, the price has increased to 3.54 lacs on road and the option with MRF tyres is not there in Mumbai showroom. I don’t know whether this is PAN India or showroom specific.

BTW any of you guys considered Suzuki Inazuma while making a purchase decision? I understand that Inazuma has not been upgraded in terms of looks and performance, but the engine and ride quality is way better than other 250CC category. Any thoughts??

MRF tyres have been stopped in Bangalore also. The Pirelli Tyres are worth the buck. Go for it. Also heard from one the guys who tested this bike, with the MRFs there was a tendency for the exhaust to bottom out ....

That's where I take my car for servicing. Majestic Colony. Now I know.

Looks - I like the way it looks. Looks sharp.
Function - Not happy with the visibility. Searching for some aftermarket stuff.

Good to see you on saddle. Benellis do look tempting, especially the 300 from the price point. It's just that it's very new in India. Inazuma is discontinued but it did had a robust engine.

Its good to be back dada..J
Just checked that Inazuma got discontinued in March. I test rode it in Feb and it was available at that time. Yes, I understand that Benelli is new but should pick up much quickly than others because the competition will eat them up, if they dont focus on service and quality. I know that you are also planning to upgrade. Go for a test ride at least and then we can talk about it

Yes... It's just too tempting to be ignored. If Z was available in 300 CC then TNT300 would have it tough. Price of the TNT300 is seriously tempting.

                    abhijitkn Hi buddy,

I was going through the posts just now.

Since, my break down happened within 200 km radius, I did not have to pay a penny.

Did I read your post right? Another break down. Near Chikmagalur! I think this belt is haunted Mine broke down near Hassan, which is around 100 km from from Chikmagalur. The towing vehicle driver had picked another TNT 300 from Belur, which is exactly between Chikmagalur and Hassan. That TNT 300 had a bad crash as per the towing vehicle driver.

So, did you make it to ISG2G or not? What was the issue this time. Last time I know, it was due to pot hole. Please shed some light.

Just few cents from my end. May I.

I had an issue with rear view mirror, especially left one as I was not getting better vision. And got the positioning adjusted at the service center. Now, I do not have issue with rear view mirror. In fact, I get a better visibility.

Heating is prevalent in all 250CC+ performance bikes as far as I know. No idea about Inazuma as that's been disconitinued and hard to find even unsold ones in showrooms as per my knowledge. Read in one of the threads that Inazuma owners are super happy with the machine. Thanks to it's super smooth engine.

No information about price hike or MRF option removal. News to me. I guess they might have discontinued MRF option as I hardly see anyone going for it against superb Pirelli Angel

GT 250R is faired so I don't think you'll feel any heat. Duke 390 is a big bore engine and you'll sure feel the heat. As long as you're moving, you'll be fine.

Buddy, Since you are most experienced here with your machine now, Have you tried riding in wet. Just wanted to know how the Pirellis grip on wat patch of the roads.

My MRF rear tyre on my CL5 does immaculate fish-tailing when driven in rainy season and I stopped riding it due to it (considering the safety too). I tried first hand on dry tarmac and grip is so encouraging , I actually for first time in my life tried to knee-down while taking a U-turn. The shoulder helped a bit on the wide 180 section tyre, but the grip is so good.

I rode this beast in heavy rain which eventually turned to heavy hail storm. Pirelli Angels are really angels. Awesome grip even in wet conditions. I have ridden this beast in heavy rain at a speed of around 80 - 90 kph and it's super stable. This was unthinkable with my Avenger

I own a CBR250R and I have experienced the hot air being blown through the openings in the fairings, which could be felt easily, but wouldn't say it as uncomfortable, but yes its certainly warm though, especially when riding in B2B traffic, in winter though, it actually becomes a thigh warmer!!...
