Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Even I am experiencing an increase in engine breaking after getting my tank replaced recently. At low RPMs and on low gears the power from the engine cuts for abruptly. Basically the throttle becomes choppy. It wasn't like that earlier. I guess tank replacement must have added some dirt in the fuel system, not sure. Thinking of filling the bike up with Shell v power and doing a long ride. Hopefully it will clean up the system.

Even my tnt 25 has hard engine braking which i am experiencing. Earlier i thought that only i was experiencing it but now after going through the previous posts i feel that its common with all Benelli models.Last edited by anwaykale; 02-14-2016, 01:48 PM.Thanks,

The bike's is super smooth and sounds even better now, (probably because i got the air filter changed as per schedule). Service got done end of January but did not go for a ride as I was out of station for a family function.Originally posted by Tarmac_Shark View PostEven I am experiencing an increase in engine breaking after getting my tank replaced recently. The rear brake pads have been replaced for me. (1st Set). Total cost inclusive of labor, spares and taxes - Rs. 1175/- I was surprised to know that there were few users who had already replaced two sets in less than 8k Kms. Probably because of different riding styles.
Front Brake pads and Chain are doing fine.Last edited by brokenbinil; 02-15-2016, 01:27 PM.

True. I generously use engine braking myself. But the inconsistency in engine breaking on lower RPMs was bothering me. Anyway, Sunday morning ride solved it. I guess there must have been some dirt in the fuel system or the air filter.

7000 - 100kmphOriginally posted by sman999 View Post300 Owners, can you please tell me at what RPM does the 300 hit 100kmph & 120kmph mark?
I haven't really cared to check the rpm but happen to remember when i hit 100. ... :P Will check next time I'm on the bike though
These are 6th gear figures by the way !!! ... I guess you are asking acceleration figures in 1st gear. Haven't checked !!!
Congrats Bro !!!Last edited by brokenbinil; 02-15-2016, 10:24 PM.

I was asking about the sixth gear figures only. How will 300 hit 100 in first gear?Originally posted by brokenbinil View Post7000 - 100kmph

I wanna know how relaxed the engine is between these speeds as they would be the cruising speed of mine.
Ride Safe!

100 Kmph - 6th gear between 6000 and 7000 RPM
120 Kmph - 6th gear around 8000 RPM
You can cruise all day at 120. its just at beginning of the power band, nice place to be
Also, coming from singles, the vibrations at high RPM are not so tiring.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
can someone tell me the size of the chain on a tnt 300.
i have not been able to find any information.
also does any one know where or how i can purchase a service(repair) manual for tnt 300. i have emailed Benelli numerous times and have never received a reply.
VERY disappointed in the lack of communication from Benelli. i have also written my distributor in Thailand numerous and the same result, no response. it is an awesome bike, but if i can not get any answers from the company i will sell my bike and buy either a Kawasaki 300 or Yamaha yzf300.
my bike only has 2500Kl. on it, but i am really getting frustrated in not getting any answers to my questions.
