So Bangalore DSK Benelli dealer, Vinayaka Cars did a celebratory ride to showcase their 500th sale from their dealership.

They have sold 500 bikes across all models in one year and roughly 70 of them were sold in Rest of Karnataka.

Met Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, though i missed out on asking him about him about his MV Augusta :P , he seemed happy about the way Benelli is making waves all over the country. Seems they have already sold 2000 units across the country, Bangalore being their highest sales.
    i don't have a carbon footprint, i ride everywhere !

Sorry, I am unable to advise on pricing, finances, loans etc. I'm pretty poor in these matters, let alone be advising others [emoji14]

Nearing 8K and 3rd service. Riding more than ever.... Motorcycle feels great!

                    To all Benelli Owners

How is Bike experience interms of quality and reliability ?

As previously i owner Hyosung GT250R i know the issues it had , i will list below let me know if you guys experienced any of it

                    1. Heats up more in traffic than any other similar class bike
                    2. components reliability issue :- back shockabserver gone withing 2 years, speedo meter issues, any other issue till now ??
                    3. Service :- i had excellent experience with DSK i rate them above all other
                    4. Costly spares ? [like- tank cost 72k, mirrors cost 7k , chain-spocket cost 12k]

these questions just out of curiosity , and i am not going to buy Benelli as of now

                      1. Heats up more in traffic than any other similar class bike

It does heat up in stop and go traffic but way less compared to the 390 dukes. Normal city stop go running temperature is around 85-93 degrees as per console. This isn't uncomfortable. and highways the running temperature drops to as low as 75 depending on the speeds you are doing.

                      2. components reliability issue :- back shockabserver gone withing 2 years, speedo meter issues, any other issue till now ??

Till now I have had only Starter Relay issue. Got replaced right away. Rest of the bike build quality is very sturdy. I know a few cases where people who have dropped their bikes. Not much of damage either.

                      3. Service :- i had excellent experience with DSK i rate them above all other

Isn't bad if you compare to other brands but they sure can get better. I personally have no issues on service front, except the short service interval, which inturn increases cost of ownership.

                      4. Costly spares ? [like- tank cost 72k, mirrors cost 7k , chain-spocket cost 12k]

Spare costs are cheaper than Hyosung. This was confirmed by a friend who has a Hyosung.
Probably because manufacturing in China is cheaper. Chain Sprocket set is 10K; Mirrors - Someone mentioned 4 K ; Exhaust of 300 is 45K - Tank I'm not sure. Break Pads 750 bucks for rear.
                      Service/Labour cost is high though.

                        DSK Hyosung DSK Benelli :P

                        1. Heats up more in traffic than any other similar class bike - TNT 300 has a high compression engine just like any other bigger bike. It does heat up your thighs on any b2b traffic day.
                        2. components reliability issue :- back shockabserver gone withing 2 years, speedo meter issues, any other issue till now ?? - My rear shock absorber went for a six in just two months. Replaced it under warranty.
                        3. Service :- i had excellent experience with DSK i rate them above all other. - I am having an excellent experience with them as of now. They are very resposnvie and helpful when it comes to service.
                        4. Costly spares ? [like- tank cost 72k, mirrors cost 7k , chain-spocket cost 12k - Rear shock absorber 17k, tank costs 8k for the 300, chain/sprocket 18k, mirrors 2.5k each. Premium bike, premium cost for parts.

Way too costly compared to KTM
I really want to own the 300 but the spare and labour are the only things making me to think again..

Ktm spares prices are at least 200% less

This is not a bike to be compared with the single pot 390 Duke. This is a mean twin pot Italian!
