Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
They have changed the timing chain, under warranty. Hopefully should get the bike by Monday. Got some extra stickers for TNT300.Originally posted by umang75 View PostHie, bought one in March 2016, done 800 Kms .They have changed & rectified a lot of things in 2016 model. Had an issue with a nagging noise upward 3000rpm, had given the bike twice & both the times I was told there was something loose which has been rectified. Immediately after riding for a KM the same noise came up, went to the showroom & was told the noise is of the timing chain. Then I was told to ride the bike and they will do the needful in a couple of days.
The darkest side of the BENELLI is the after sales service.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Sure. Will be going for my 4th service after 15th May. Will check with dealer and SVC then.Originally posted by abhijitkn View PostYes, the new owners are getting the extended warranty. For the existing owners though the terms are not finalized yet.
But yes as Binil said I'm too interested knowing the terms & condition of the extended warranty.
Binil check in Bangalore showroom for the availability of Extended warranty for existing customers.
abhijitkn - on that front, ur 4th service done ? what was the General Service Charge. 2100 or did they reduce it ... ?
Yes - 15K total till date. Not one service broOriginally posted by chiragsthakur View Post15k ?
Even my ford costs 2.5k for a service just for a change. I mean that is a ridiculously high service cost, whether it be an Italian or Indian Bike. I mean one would have to spent a hefty fortune just in the servicing itself.
I think he was saying he has spent 15k in routine maintenance and isnt telling the 4th service cost.
. I am planning on a long term maintenance comparison of the 3 300s soon. Will keep you guys posted.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Finally, I got the delivery of my red beast from Thane showroom. (thanks Satish for managing the entire process).
Good riding experience.
0-1k km to be driven till 5k rpm
1-2k km 5k - 8k rpm
After 2k, blast it.
I rode the bike from Thane to Borivali (which is 25km) which includes lot of city traffic. Bike did well in managing the heat even at 50km/hr.
Handling is superb, maneuvering is butterly smooth.
More coming!

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
I have got a quote from Benelli, Thane.
Let me know if its the same
Mumbai : OTR : 364900/- (with 2 yrs insurance)
Panvel : OTR : 352400/- (With 2 yrs insurance)
Dealer is saying he is getting his consignment in next week, and if I book within a week, then he would be giving me the bike in 10 days. Has anyone got it delivered in 10 days?Last edited by chiragsthakur; 05-10-2016, 06:02 PM.Yamaha RX135 (1998) - Stolen

Hi Chirag .. 364900 is the cost for Mumbai. Also i booked my bike on 23rd April 2016 and received it on 9th May 2016. But it has not been registered yet . that will take another 4 - wrking days.So dont go by the exact 10 days number given by the dealer. Things can get delayed. I would say, keep a buffer for an extra week or so .

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hi Guys, today I gave my bike for its second service in Bengaluru and was talking to the service guys. They mentioned that now TNT 300 buyers are being offered with additional 2 years of extended warranty at some extra cost. He was not clear from when it is being offered and how much it is, but have any new TNT 300 owners been offered this is my question.
Coming to the service, I have gone through the previous posts on this thread and am keeping an eye for any misdemeanour, will keep you posted once I get the bike back
Cheers,
Shrezza

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hello brother. I own a tn25. 2 years extended warrenty program has been launched for every benelli. It costed me 2300 , for 300 its near 3500 i guess. It extends your warrenty to 4 years and unlimited kilometers. It started from a week ago and will last till june 30 . Its a beneficial offer if you are in no mood to modify your bikeOriginally posted by shrezza View PostHi Guys, today I gave my bike for its second service in Bengaluru and was talking to the service guys. Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Hey every one....
Am from kolkata & planning to get a TNT 300...
went to the show room had a look luvd it...
but.. the on road price seems to be on the higher side a bit....
i mean the ex shwroom is Rs 3.11 lacs the registration& tax is around Rs 33600.00
plus the insurance is Rs 10379 and something called the handling charges being Rs 11450.00
Now i think the registration & tax is inflated plus the handling charge is a mystery!!!!
Plz advice buyers frm Kolkata.....
Thanks
