Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Have a few questions...
Has anybody currently booked the 300 from the thane dealer recently?
If yes, what's the waiting period the dealer has told.
Do we have a benelli riders group..?
If yes pls add me, PM me ur number, I'll ping you back on WhatsApp.
If no, then PM me ur numbers I'll create the group.
Anybody been to the ibw this year on their 300..?

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
Have seen that many of us are not sure about accessories for the TNT300.
And many of us end up buying the ones provided by the showroom at much higher prices.
I've short-listed a few of must have accessories down here.
1. Frame Sliders (a.k.a : Crash Guards)
Various kinds of sliders, called frame sliders, frame protectors, fairing protectors, or crash bobbins.
They are attached to motorcycles with the intention of minimizing damage to the bike's fairings, frame, engine,
and other parts, in the event of a crash, or an accidental tip over.
They are made of plastics, or sometimes aluminium.
Frame sliders are usually located and installed on the engine bolts on both sides of the fairings.
Have found one for TNT 300 here.
2. Radiator Grill
Radiators are constructed of a pair of header tanks, linked by a core with many narrow passageways, giving a high surface area relative to volume.
They sit right behind the front wheel and are highly prone to damage by derbies of the road.
Its very important to protect them from getting damaged, especially on the Indian roads.
Have found one for TNT 300 here.
Apart from these, many prefer paint protection as well for the bike to look new for the years to come.
This was about the bike. The rider safety is more important, accessories such as helmet, jackets, guards, gloves protect the rider.
Will be covering theses in the future days to come.
For now, enjoy and ride safe.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
The frame sliders that you have mentioned will cost about $60 + shipping + customs duty for a pair. Where as Benelli provides us with 2 pairs for 4k.Originally posted by RoadRanger View PostHave seen that many of us are not sure about accessories for the TNT300.

I am not trying to downplay your point, just sharing my thought.

Re: Benelli TNT 300 Ownership Experience
1. Frame Sliders - off all the options available, the ones given by DSK are value for money. 4K for a set of 4 sliders. The same ones mentioned by ShahshankOriginally posted by RoadRanger View PostHave seen that many of us are not sure about accessories for the TNT300.

2. Radiator Grill - honestly an unnecessary expense. The concern is valid, the stock tires are sticky and throw muck and pebbles at the radiator. There is a simpler solution at less than 250 bucks and some effort. I did it and have done 10K km on my bike and it's been serving me well. check link below.

But I would still suggest the radiator grill, as a secondary protection.
